I actually found the first movie, though flawed, to be pretty decent. After that, it's been insanely stupid, not just by video game movie standards either.

The CG RE film, Degeneration, while no gem itself, was a massive improvement over the Hollywood dreck we've been saddled with.

Man, and 50% of the newest trailer was just advertisement for Sony products so blatant and forced down my throat, I don't want to buy a Vita now out of SPITE.

I enjoy them to a certain point, then I mostly start making fun of the giant cluster fucks they make in each movie.
