No. I've made a promise to myself to not diminish what I love about the games by seeing it. I think I've made it aboundantly clear in a handful of other threads that I loath Paul Anderson and will never watch anything with his name attached to it.

Oh geeeez! They killed a good story and made it into a predictable, non thrilling, horrorLESS flick with hyped up music and a unstellar cast. Oh and I forgot that they threw in a character that wasn't in the games and made those that were diminished just to play behind her lead. What crap! Milla is a fine actress, but not for this franchise.

I plan on seeing it when it is released over here in the Netherlands. It should be a lot better than the first one from what I've seen and read about it.

I saw the first one, so I have to see the second.

Its no different to me than seeing Annialation, I saw the first and no matter how bad it was going to be I had to see the second.

I might see it.. I actually did like the first RE.. And also, David Goyer said they have a new, longer Blade: Trinity trailer that's gonna play with RE:A as well, so unless they release the trailer online too, i'll see the movie just for that trailer.

so true,who the hell was that at the end of the first one that walked past the window.I thought the last 15mins of the first one was great.It remind me alot of night of the living dead.The movie wasnt great but it was a good movie for just being a movie.BTW those who hated the first movie cause it didnt go along with the storyline of the game,why not look more into it cause the first movie wasnt supposed to be based on any of the games.Paul Anderson cleary said that he didnt want to do a movie where you already know what happens cause it kinda ruins the story thats why it took place before the games and thats why he put in alice.But from what I hear REA isnt good at all from the reviews i read of it at bloody-disgusting.com

After seeing Alien vs. Predator, I don't want to have anything to do with the name Paul Anderson. If the guy's name is attached to something I don't wanna see it. That guy is horrible at almost anything he does. I think he messes up almost any movie he touches. I'm so glad he isn't directing the third MK movie.

ill see it out of curiosity and being an RE fan... but my question to the masses is y r we now making Comic Book based movies that have good plots and a lot of emotion BUT everytime we make a video game movie its shit, its always based on popular bands of the time cranked to the max with some of the dumbest actions scenes ever... its like video games r seen as this techno action cult that u have to have no plot, lots of loud popular tunes, and non stop action... this is not RE, this is just a past time till RE4 comes out...

I liked the first one, and I've been waiting for this one to come out ever since. I'll gladly watch it tomorrow.

I would say because video games for the most part (unless its an RPG) are objective. Comic books are not therefore they have more room for better quality

Good question, but it's one I can't think of a good answer....BTW I've come up with my own way to hold myself over for RE4, and it's Shaun of the Dead.

... Milla looks so much better than Jill... for God's sake scroll up and look at the woman's mutated kneecaps. That should say something. As far as paul anderson... I don't mind what I've seen from him thus far. Couldve been better, but it could have been worse. hell, the first RE could have turned out like House of The Dead. I for one, am staying up all night so I can get to the theatre at noon and purchase my ticket.
