I tend to think of "Social Justice Warrior" as a variation of the outdated term "Keyboard Warrior". The problem isn't the message, it's the way the message is delivered.

Well, as a Conservative bigot, I tend to see "Social Justice Warriors" as crying wolf. The more you declare something racist, the more tame that term becomes. It is not sexist to refuse a job to a 90lb woman that requires an individual to carry 60+ pounds multiple times a day. I sense the "Social Justice Warriors" hit upon the exception and not the rule. Fire Departments shouldn't lower standards to meet racial quotas and women should be allowed to be Special Forces if they pass the same physical requirements men have to pass.

Furthermore, the types of people harp on the issue that people will be offended. Taking offense on other's behalf is a wonderful gift white America has given non-white America. I recall going to college in Virginia, 2500 miles from my home. I was in a conversation with a student aide; a hipster grad student stereotype if I ever saw one. He was from Connecticut and had a strong interest in Native Americans. I told him I grew up on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, and he scolded me for using that term Indian, that it was an insensitive term given by European oppressors. I let it go, but that still angers me to this day. Why? Well, I grew up on The Nez Perce Indian Reservation, the Nez Perce prefer the term American Indian, and actively campaign against legislation labeling them as Native Americans; their mythology tells that they are not native to this land. The student aide took offense to a people being called what they want to be called, and insisted they be referred to in a terminology that contradicts their ancestral lore.

If I am not offended, I have no right to act so. I can advise it as unwise, but beyond that I have no place commanding the feelings of others, this is abused daily. The question of what if has replaced what is, and that makes the actual problems less apparent. If everything is racism, sexism, or bigotry than nothing is. People deserve nothing based on the color of their skin or what is between their legs - positive or negative.

They're called "Indians" because sailors thought they reached India, and China. Genetically, the various North American tribes are Asian, Polynesian, and Mongoloid, iirc.

And racial minorities and women need more representaion in the media, especially video games. Around 5% of protagonists are female and 20% of them are black, and even less for other races.

There was a news story last year in Nova Scotia, some girls complained about being suspended for violating the school dress code with short shorts.
