Wow I've missed out on the conversation.

Even though this is completely stereotypical and not completely true. I'm from the south and I can't help that, but it seems that if youhave no hatred towards others then you yourself are an outsider. I've seen little kids who have already embracing the "redneck" life style and it truly makes me sick to my stomach.

I'm one of the few southerns that actually tries to break the stereotypes that people have on us, but when "rednecks" get on XBL and talk their shit, it ruins it for the rest of us. This is actually one of the reason why I hate playing games that require you to talk in game because I can't tell you how many times I've been accused of being racist, eating roadkill, fucking my relatives or just the overall lack of knowledge my brain has.

I don't bully others because of the region they live in and the stereotypes that come with it, so why should I have to deal with it as well.

I hate bullies. Although i've never been bullied (or atleast i dont think i have.), because i'm considered to be cool with everyone, as a matter of fact EVERYONE is cool with everyone (Except gangs and what not.).
Even though i say i hate bullies, i am guilty of being one. But i have my own reason to do so, But i'm not gunna get into that right now.

People need to learn that bullying can be stopped in alot of ways. like Icebaby mentioned, but the fact is, people these days (especially little kids ages 7-15) Don't have people around them to help them cope with it. Also, mentioned earlier, it's the parents fault. Parent's need to be more involved in their child's life.

I just want to say that there are things that people can do to ease bullying. In elementary school bullying was a pretty big issue. Many kids, including myself, were regularly bullied and our gym teacher actually took it upon himself to have a lecture to tell students to stop it, and you know what...it helped. Now it didn't completley stomp it out but it certainly helped. So just talking to children can help.

People tend to think that there's no way in talking to these kids becuase kids are fighting back now. But there's always a way around this issue to get kids to stop.

I remember there used to be this awful, awful little kid terrorizing me when I was younger. This kid always talked back to parents when he was told to stop picking on me, and just basically ignored them.

Well, one day, he decides to shove me to the ground when I was playing in front of my house. I was playing with my Barbies, he took one of them, ripped the head off and pushed me down becuase he thought I was so stupid playing with dolls. Lucky for me, my front door was open and the screen was down so that my brother heard everything that was going on. As soon as he heard me cry, I couldn't tell you how fast he bolted out the door and speared this kid to the ground.

My brother just sat on him, placed his hands near the kid's throat but wasn't choking him. He said, 'If you EVER touch my little sister again, I will make sure you'll eat food out of a straw." The kid who was picking on me also had his buddies around mocking me, but they weren't as cruel as he was. My brother looks up at all of them and says, "This goes for all of you. I'm tired of my little sister coming home claiming that one of you were picking on her. Leave her alone right now, or I'll mangle you too."

Granted that my brother forced this kid to the ground, he didn't attack him or anything, he just pinned him down and got in his face because he is my older brother. Seven years older than me though, so... this was when I was in second grade so I was around eight, so he was already in freshman year... These kids were one year older than me.

So, in some manner, there are ways to get kids to knock the shit off. Sure, what my brother did may not be the best method but, hey, these kids backed the fuck off after he did so.

My brother still is a badass.

But, see, a little intimidation, despite he was a bit physical, he didn't necessarily hurt the guy, he just shoved him to the ground and got on top of him. Even if he didn't do that, screaming at him would have been just as intimidating because my brother isn't a small guy. He's an in-shape person and has and it currently going to the gym every now and then.

So, it's not like "oh, he's Icy's bigger brother, you can't do anything." He was on the football team until he injured his back, and football players, to my knowledge, are not small people.

Intimidating the crap out of someone will get bullies to back off. I did when I explained how I did it back in senior year just by screaming, my brother did it by shoving someone down to the ground and not fighting... There's a way to break a bully. You just have to know what is the right way to do so.

Same here. But since I'm an only child, I look after my little cousins. This 5th grader was picking on my cousin(he's 8), I picked the kid up by his collar(like you're brother, I'm on the football team and I'm 6'7) and threatened him to lay off my little cuz or ELSE! Then he literally pissed his pants running and crying
