I personally thinkAmerican Idol has become more of a popularity contest than an actual Talent Show..that 16-year-old girl should have won, nuff said.

everything about him, except his personality, is very outdated, my opinion is he'll wind up to be another ruben... and the girl who lost will do better than him.

she was better in my opinion, from what i heard across the hallway last nite, not by much, but overall better, just nothing too original, sounded like any other woman that won that contest, who wants that again?

but she was extremly talented, and i mean extremly, best of luck to both of them.

I won't say I knew he would win it ever since I first saw him in the auditions, but I've always said that he and Katharine were my 2 faves. Couldn't be happier, to be honest.

Anyways this is the very first time the person I picked to win the whole competition(My pick was Chris) didn't win. I think Elliot and Chris were far better than Taylor. I actually think we will have a few successful people from this year. I'm not too sure about Taylor though.

Katherine should have won. But technically she did. Taylor is locked into a contract with Fox now, where Katherine is going to sign a deal for wayyyyyyyyyyyy more money then Taylor is going to get from his pre-done contract with Fox.

It's interesting. I haven't watched any episodes of American Idol, ever, but one. It was the one where Taylor Hicks tried out. I said to myself, "You know, he seems like a nice guy. It would be cool if he won." He just didn't SEEM like an American Idol. Hurray for the underdog. I still didn't watch the finale but, er, I guess he won.

I thought Elliot was better then Katherine to be honest and that other girl Mendeeza was SOOOOOOOOO much better then Katherine it's not even funny.She was kind of big, that's why she got voted off.

Taylor has talent, he might not have the best VOICE, but that doesn't matter it's how your present yourself in the end.He was more animated then most so that for some reason (the people that didn't like him) went against him.

But yeah, I wouldn't be so sure he'll have a short career.He's animated on stage while he sings which only helps him IMO.
