Well, as far as The King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 goes it's impossible for Jin to have won. Even in his own ending he lost the tournament because he didn't show up for Round 7.



I am guessing it follows that path, and is a mix of Kazuya and Jin's endings.

Kazuya and Jin were to meet in Round 7 but the Tekken Force captured Jin and took him away, giving Kazuya a bypass to the finals. In the finals Kazuya defeated Heihachi and became the new owner of the Mishima Zaibatsu. Then Heihachi took him to his lair and Jin broke free of the chains, beat down Kazuya and then beat down Heihachi and flew away.

This sets up Tekken 5 nicely. Kazuya would be the new owner and Jin would have seen that vision of Jun and ran off. Heihachi is a wild card. He could either be killed by Kazuya inbetween 4 and 5 or maybe even have managed to get their DNA during the fighting and was able to create his monster. There's a lot of ways they could go about it with this scenario.
Anybody have ideas for improvements for T5?

1. Even bigger levels than in Tekken 4.

2. Make Jin less uberfying and more to the level of the other Tekken characters.

3. Should include a message after the credits that apologize for killing Armor King off. :'(

4. Juggle combos should be harder to pull off. Some of the juggles in Tekken 4 borderlined insane.

5. I'll type more later. I have to play some Tekken first to figure out more things I didn't like about it.

- Jins LS needs to be 17 frames and a true JF. It can track all it wants, but make it a real fucking JF. Perhaps make the entire thing JF for 3 pure hits on non CH, meh. Parry needs to give a frame or two less advantage.
- Give Lei damage.
- Give Julia a SS.
- The wall system is fucking gorgeous, but as much as I hate to say it, fix the pilla' glitch shit.
- Someone needs a mid hitting EWGF!!
- Some like Tags teching system, I don't know. Maybe give not so many invurnerable frames in T5.
- Give craig some hardcore shit. Perhaps he'll get some more development out of VTS and mount. I almost gaurantee that his d/b+3+4 is going to have some shit with it this time. Eh...
- The fanboy in me wants to see Jin tap Lings ass, hard. Peace.

I'd like to see more regular counter attacks.

Like Bruce Ervin's >>+2

And from VF4 Lion's 2,4+Punch

More throw chains and mix ups like for T4 Jin's 2+4 throw. Add a chain so he throws a low punch right after to finish the animation. Sort of like Mai from VF.

Or have him do the throw and chain an elbow drop to it, then while on the ground, he could do a second elbow strike.



A safer side step, that can be used to escape strings.



An aggressive block, sort of like the low parry, but instead have a strong block that can stop a string.

It can be an elbow strike to block a kick, an advancing block = block, and take a step forward so the opponent doesn't have enough room to throw an attack. It would have to be programed to work that way, so it's not like the regular attacks that can be done at any distance.

It can also be a shove, or ram.



I want to see someone use Monkey kung fu, Tai Chi and Akido.


A counter system, that works like SC2 Raphael's H+K and V+K dodge.

I'd like to see specific animations for high, med low left right and straight attacks.



The walk animations should be a lot more realistic too, not so robotic looking like they are now.

when close to the opponent, they can inch like always, but when far away, they walk with one foot in front of the other, like in MKDA, or more relaxed looking.

If Kuma is in, I want him to fight more animalistic. More wild looking attacks that look like an animal would do it, not a Karate champion.

I know he is supposed to be trained to fight like a human, but I'd like for him to have a more savage style to his attacks.

I'd take out his uppercut combo, and give him more 2-3 hit faster combos.

Like burst attacks a fast charge and attack.

Like 2 hook swipes that chain to the hunting stance.

I want to see him roar a lot more too, a loud scary looking roar, with drool if possible.


He should also take hit's and have them not faze him too much. Sort of like the Hulk, or Juggernaut in the Capcom VS fighters.

He should be able to run on all 4 legs, for like a side dash, like the run away move Heihachy does. <
