There has been much worse posted and nobody got any skulls, nor were threads closed. Plus the whole MKD board is spam, I don't see it I suppose, but to each their own.

3)Having the girl that I personally considered to be the most beautiful woman I had ever seen fall in love with me.

2)FINALLY winning my University's soccer tournament after six years of sweat and blood and always coming up short.

1)Being able to open up my eyes and close my heart to what my "situation" with my most recent ex REALLY was, 'cause it meant that she wouldn't be able to hurt me anymore and I'd finally start putting me and my needs first.

P.S. Once I graduate from college and get a real job (both will happen later this year), I'd add 'em to this list.

I'd have to say that the best thing that ever happened to me happened yesterday(monday afternoon).

Gregory Allen Howard, who wrote the screenplay for the Denzel Washington movie Remember The Titans game to my campus to share some of his experience, advice on screenwriting, and what hollywood is looking for with an english class. The professor let me sit in on the class, since I had a class with her a year ago and she knew that I was writing a screenplay.

He talked about how he tried to break into the business and he gave tons of examples of what gets a screenplay noticed by producers. He gave various quotes from famous producers and actors that stated how and when a screenplay should start out to be successfull.

He also gave the rules for writing a screenplay. Interestingly enough, he said that people shouldn't use flashback scenes if they want their screenplays to get anywhere. He did however say that Tarantino, for example is able to get away with using them cause he can make them interesting and strong enough for them to stand on their own and not moke them seem as if the momentum of the movie has slowed down. This is also due to that he uses flashbacks that go on for more than 15-20 min.

He asked if there were any aspiring writers in the room and of course my sunglass wearin' self raised my hand. He asked me what my story was about, which was such a bloody cool experience cause it was the first time even made a "pitch", as they call it, to a prosessional. So I layed down the bare bones of the story and he really thought that it was a powerfull story. I mean for like 3-5 mins he was asking me about critical aspects of the story and the characters.

He told me to change one element of the story because the main character needed to be driven to the eventual end in a direct path instead of a round about way which made total sence. I damned near slapped myself in the head cause it was so friggin logical how he explained it to me.

We talked a little while after the 'meet and greet' and he gave me even more advice about writing and the do's and don't of writing screenplays. Damn. I kind feel stupid for buy two books on writing when I didn't need to. He did however suggest one book that he said was 'the bible' of writing that helped him.

Damn! I kinda feel like Ice Cube cause... today was a good day!

So that seriously happened? I thought you were kidding when you said it in the other thread. Whatever.

Anyway, the best day of my life is when I FINALLY beat Vice City and GTA3 for Xbox. Well, they were on 2 different days, but they were still great!

i was playing splinter cell:pt online for the first time and there were two spies and two mercernaries(sp?). i was part of the spies and me and my partner had to disable three nd133s. while the mercs had to protect them. there were four in total. me and my partner disable two at the same time, so we had one more to go, even though there were still two left. i found an nd133 but was shot down during the process, with about 5 secs left to complete the mission. my partner found the other one and was interrupted as well. with a minute and a half left to complete the mission, i started out from my respawn point(starting position) and made it to the same nd133 i was at before. nobody was near and i began disabling the nd133 with those 5 secs left. the game time, which i had completely forgotten about was about less than a half a second behind the disabling time. i completed the mission with less than one second left. it's just like those movies where you see the clock counting down and the hero stops it with liitle time left. it was an awesome moment.

sad really, that everyone gotten a skull in the old post, big whoop we went a wee bit off topic, aslong as some still bring it back to topic i dont see why its so harsh, no body flamed another, i did not see anyone go "FUCK YOU ASSHOLE!!!" but ah well, (:-\ does'nt matter.

This is a little off topic, but some of you may remember yesterday I said today might have ended up being the best for me, then implied that I was planning to ask a girl out. Well, I figured I should follow up on that. I did ask her out, and when I did she acted like I just told her she won a million dollars, because she was so flattered; but she said she had a lot of things going on, and didn't have time for a boyfriend. I plan to stay in touch with her though, so it's all good...not the BEST thing that ever happened, but it could open the door to some good shit...

Best thing that ever happened to me was when I met Michelle_The_Belle.

I slept with a 5 year old boy. But in a Michael Jackson way, nothing sexual.
