I dunno how many of you saw the 10 min long trailer for this movie but the entire movie is only 1hour and 20mins longer then that trailer. How sad is that?I mean wtf,how in the hell can that be a good movie,id4 was longer then 2 hours and the day after tomorrow is only like a hour and half. What bloody gives, dont waste your time and money.I am not saying it wont be good, but I am saying i wouldnt pay 7.50 10.00 or any above that for a movie that short.

$7.50? $10.00?! For one ticket? Where in the world do you live and go to see movies at? I can get 2 tickets for those prices.

In Canada, tickets are about $15 for a regular movie and 12 for a matinee.
But seriously, after the nightmare that was the Lord Of The Rings movies, a nice short 90 minute movie is fine by me. It's these 3 hour plus monstrosities that have to stop. tongue

Maybe I should move to Japan.

Except the only Japanese word I know is "baka" and that won't get me very far.

Well, the last movie I saw in theatres (Matrix Revolutions, back on December 29) was a matinee and cost $5.50.

By the way, is anyone else predicting Rush Limbaugh will be having a field day on this one, bitching about the liberals making this movie as global warming propaganda? I mean, I saw the 10-minute trailer, and if my dad (a Rush fan) had seen it I'm positive he would go on a 15-minute lecture about how "global warming is a myth," "the tree huggers are trying to scare us," etc.

actually bezou, the flags are of nationality, not location, if it was of location alot of the flags would be american flags.

anyway, so what? its only a hour and a half? some movies are great and short, a movie doesnt have to be twenty four hours long... though jesus of nazareth was pretty good and it was something like twelve hours, but you are saying for people to not watch it because its only a hour and a half? please!

I can't wait to read the reviews friday morning.

Everytime Hollywood tries to take a goofy concept and make it a serious movie it always comes out looking cheesy and boring. ex: ID4,Armageddon

The whole movie looks like an excuse to over-use the (already massive) SFX budget. Nothing wrong with showing off FX but when the story is so one dimensional problems arise. Especially in this case.

I'll give it a chance though. Can't base the WHOLE movie on a few scattered scenes.

The movie was meant to be entertainment, not propaganda. Everyone knows that "Global Warming" has been scientifically proven to be complete bullshit now anyways.
