I hate it. Most overrated game ever. Most overrated series ever, actually.

I officially hate official threads about useless crap no one cares about.

I don't mean to flame, but Hyuga, and Nikodemus, please close your mouths *fingers..whatever*. The game rules and always will, and I believe it is one of the best, along with many other people.

I'm with Hyuga; it's got its qualities, but definately nothing worth all the hype it's gotten as of late.

It's the 2nd best of the FF titles that "everyday-average-DBZ-Joe" (read: mainstream PS users) plays.

I never said the game sucked I just said I'm tired of offical threads about every possible subject. Not to mention something as outdated as Final Fantasy 7. How about I make an Offical Thread for Super Mario 3? Let's get as archaic as possible.

Awesome! I love this game!

to defeat emerald weapon get the underwater materia and have your characters at level 80 at least, this should help out.

There's some people in the world who can't let people say they like FF7 without calling them fanboys.

I beat the entire game. Unlocked everything possible, and all my materia was MASTER. Emerald isn't hard at all really. Just use the Knights of the Round materia, and have both your players Mimic it. Toast before ya know it, .

Also, the Final Fantasy series is either loved or hated. You either like it or you don't. I personally love the stories of the games, and all the depth to them.

I beat Emerald with Lucky 7's trick, which is damn helpful, and Pheonix-Final Attack. KOTR helps hella lot too.

Thanks for the help although I'm trying to get Clouds final limit break at gold saucer to help me beat emerald.

Gaming series I never cared about:

1. Final Fantasy
2. Zelda

I had trouble beating weapon but i did the folowing to make it easier,

1.Equipt cloud with championship belt (can be found at gold saucer).
2.Have Hp plus materia.
3.make sure all of party is at their limit break.

I will have more info later..

So far I have tried ten times to beat emerald and I have had no sucess! I will level my party up and try later, thanks ace for the info.

I saw something on the net about using W-Materia and Gravity to do 9999 damage but have'nt tested it yet, give it a shot.

So ya have not beaten weapon yet hu? Here are my ideas on how you can get the job done!

have counter attack materia mastered so you can attack him when he fights back,
second have plenty of hp plus materia
and third have a good batch of ether and turbo ether.

Also try to be offensive rather than defensive.
If you still can;t win,,,,,,you're fired!

Or you can read what I posted as it is the easiest way...

Well I finally beat Emerald and I now have the "Earth Harp" I can now get the three master materias, Master Magic, Master Command and Master Summon!
