Star Trek: Elite Force 1 & 2 are both pretty good fps like Ghost said... also if you like ship combat Starfleet Command 3 is not bad (there is no real great storyline but the ship to ship battles are pretty fun... it's also a good lan game if you got a bunch of trek fans together).

Oh yeah. The SF Command games are fun.I have them all, even the lame Orion Pirates game. Though SFC3 crashes on my compy. I never managed to use the new Romulan Warbird. =(

Ghostdragon

That sucks the Romulans are fun to use...just cloak, charge all your weapons, uncloak behind the target, open fire, and cloak again haha... I pissed a lot of my friends off using that tactic. I wonder why it crashes on your comp...I know my computer has issues with Unreal Tournament for some reason. sad

I wanna get a look at some of those games too. I think I seen the voyager one real cheap recently, but cause I aint seen Voyager (started now tho) I didnt get it. Do u need to have seen Voyager to be able to play? Does it spoil much etc?

Still not started Shattered Universe yet lol have been ill today sad

What are you guys' favourite speices?

For some reason, I really like the Romulans, The Ferengi and The Andorians. I love the little antennae the Andorians have.
I think DS9 was best for showing off most different kinda of alien (especially non-humanoids).
Oh and, of course, I love the Borg. (The only thing missing from DS9, bit of a disappointment).

Wow. GD!! Theres a Cardassian on ur ass!! That must hurt! tongue

Yeah I liked the Cardassians after DS9 too. And I dont dislike the Klingons as such, they just irritate me slightly. 'It is without honour' Im like, who gives a shit, get a grip. Get someone else to kill some lame extra character without a forename and u'll get into Sto-Vo-Kor ok.

Well, I have just finished the first season on Voyager. Generally, I quite liked it, though it was very short. Only like 14 or 15 episodes.
There were a few good episodes. The opener was obviously very good, as was the episode 'Faces' where B'Elanna was split into two beings. loved that epsiode, and the actress who plays B'Elanna was great as both parts, as well.

I like how that they tried something different, and new with this series. The characters are all well developed quite early which helps move it along. I found with DS9 that it took them too long to get the necessary background for characters across to viewers. With this its pretty good.

Characters:

Janeway: Well, she seemed at first just to be a female Piccard. You now, like authoritarian, but with a heart too. But she got better, and I like the feminine touch to the Captains character. A woman with balls.

Chakotay: Well, I find it weird how he is First Officer, yet Tuvok does everything. I like Chakotay though, no real major assets tho, but no major flaws. Just a pretty good character so far.

B'Elanna: I thought I wouldnt like her at all but she's quick becoming a favourite. I like how she is for once, exactly what she claims to be. Half human, half klingon. Other 50/50 characters like Deanna were more like one species than the other. Like Deanna was more Betazoid than human IMO. With B'Elanna its a good mix.

Paris: Ugh he annoys me for some reason. He seemed to get this high rank position over others who could have easily done it, and I dont think his character has done much really (so far).

Kim: For an ensign, he gets too much story. Though, I did kinda complain that Hoshi and Mayweather didnt get enough. I think some of the episodes he featured in could have been better spent on others like Paris/Kes.

Kes: Awwww isnt she jsut sweet. Well yeah, thats about it for her. I do like her though.

The Doctor: OMG that mans voice is annoying. And why does he have to speak so quickly. The idea of him being a hologram is ingenious though. Very good. And I like how he becomes more human like as the season goes on.

Neelix: Well Im still undecided about him. Basically just the guide through this quadrant so far. Hopefully he'll be explored a bit mroe later.

Tuvok: OMG I hate him. theres just something about him. Maybe its the cold Vulcan-ness. Man does this guy need to get laid, and soon! He is basically Janeway's bitch lol. Well, I suppose someone has to do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Back to the series. I didnt like how Season 1 just ended with a normal episode. All seasons of TNG and DS9 ended with la ....to be continued two-parter. But oh well.

Started Season two, and I loved the first epsidoe. The cryogenically frozen peole who were abducted with aliens get thawed out one. Cool idea. And the landed the starship. That was great too. Tho in some scenes, it was too small, as in one scene, Chakotay and Tuvok are the height of half the starship lol.

When is this 7 of 9 gal in it? Every trekkie I know is like, oooooh wait till 70f9 is in it shes great. confused

janeway and chakotay should have banged atleast once furious she always had a stick up her ass, atleast picard got laid once in awhile..

Ahhhh, that explain the shortness of the season. Thanks.

And I look forward to Scorpion. Looks interesting. And I now know who leaves the series. WHY THE HELL DO I ALWAYS LIKE THE ONES THAT LEAVE????? furiousfurious lol Well at least she doesnt die. Will be interesting to see what happens too. Plus she isnt my fave. Tasha/Jadzia were.

OMG Chakotay and Janeway. I did just watch an episode and those two were talking about letting crew members 'fratenise' or have children. And u could well see her was wanting her. He was practically humping her leg. Well, the 'they should have banged at lesat once' tells me theres no romancey bit between them tongue.

And about the Vulcan, hmmm I didnt know that. I remember seeing an episode of ST:ENT where T'Pol was, basically, horny and I think she needed to mate. So they only get laid so they can conceive? How boring tongue.

Well, Ive started Shattered Universe and Im not really that impressed sad plus, I'm shit at it. Lol I never play flighty/combat games often. hopefully I'll get better at it.

I used to like Star Trek somewhat. I still sorta do but I dont watch it much. DS9 and Voyager were my favorite series. I HATED Enterprise and still do. Jadzia Dax, Kira, and Seven of Nine are my favorite characters.

I have that game. It's the only Star Trek game I like(d). It is really hard especially at the end, I gave up on it. Besides, Sulu annoys the crap out of me. I hate the original series.

That is probably the best episode in the whole series. Definitely my favorite.

Oooooh. where abouts is the convention?

I'd really like to go to one. My friend went to one once and met one of the cast. I cant remember who though.

And 17thingy17, I been playing Shattered Universe for a few days now, and Im not really getting anywhere lol. I did complete the first mission, but then i forgot to save and died, and got so mad that I havent put it back on. I just think its dumb how u have to kill about 10 ships in 3 mintues, when they take about 4 phtons to kill and mvoe so damn fast furious

Almost at the end of Season 2, though I dont want to watch the last episode until I have Season 3 cause I have no patience to wait for the second part.

- Q ... and A: John de Lancie Reflects On His Time As ‘Star Trek’s’ Cosmic Trickster

Created by Gene Roddenberry in 1987 as a recurring alien agent provocateur to bedevil the crew of the Enterprise-D on Star Trek: The Next Generation, Q became a fan favorite during his eight appearances (as well as additional episodes of Deep Space Nine and Voyager), thanks in large part to a deliriously wicked performance by actor John de Lancie.

Having been part of the series’ premiere, it made for a nice bookend when Q played a pivotal role in the acclaimed 1994 two-hour finale “All Good Things,” now available on Blu-ray both as a feature-length solo disc and as part of the newly released complete seventh season featuring all 25 episodes. Twenty years after the epic conclusion of TNG, de Lancie looked back at his time as Q with Spinoff Online.

I'm not much of a Star Trek guy, but I've got some Next Generation on reruns recently, and this Q stuff stood out as kinda interesting. Nice interview for anyone interested. Not sure there's much revelatory for diehards, though.
