Jaycee/King is a boss combination! Here's a combo for you.

JC: Forward jump + RK, LK • LP, RP • Forward + RP, RP, RP + Tag Assault/King: Do the button combination for the Hyper Swing while opponent is in midair.

And that is an awesome combo.

i'm curious how my 5 favorite characters are in this game. since i don't own it i was wondering how my fav characters play and rank compared to the rest of the cast.

are these characters better in tekken 6 or are they better in ttt2. what new moves do they have. do they have new throws and air throws, how's there combos,how much damage do they do, what does there primary attire look like and etc.

so if someone can answer my questions that be nice.

It's nice that you can still customize Eddy to have Tiger's original costume. Not sure why they chose to not make it an option for Tiger but it's nice that it's still in there.

Yeah, as far as what I was saying a few pages ago, I'd still want to keep styles similar (ie Eddy and Christie both using capoira, King and Armor King both pro wrestling etc) I think it'd be awesome to give them completely different moves, combos, throws etc within those styles.

In other news, I've FINALLY found a working combo for my Jin/Xiaoyu team.

And I've been working on Heihachi/Asuka, my original team which somewhat got disbanded in the middle then somehow got its way back up.

I have a question... and answer this as a non tekken fan boy.

If I already have Tekken 6, is it worth the 60 bucks or should I wait for the price drop?

I made a thread about how games like Tekken, Soul Calibur, and Virtua Fighter add only a small amount of new content in each game that I really only bother buying every other game.

So since I have Tekken 4 and Tekken 6 I'm technically not supposed to get the next Tekken game until Tekken 8...

If you liked Tekken 6 and you really want to play online with no lag, this is the game.

If you've always wanted to play as 2 people you are familiar with at the same time (aka your dream team), this is the game.

If you've always wanted to fight while listening to your own music in the game, this is the game. (of course you could do it with some ipod, but it just doesn't feel the same as when the music is coming directly from the game)

If you want to rage at times, this is it.

Customization is damn good, just got rid of 2 things (hands and feet), but more stuff is on the way for free and can color anything to any color you choose for great variety.

More characters for free are on the way.

The AI is challenging even on easy.

Online (once again) is damn good.

I ain't no tekken fanboy, but I'm pleased with it.

Fanboyism aside, this really is the best Tekken ever. It has literally every Tekken character ever, an amazing Tag system with endless possibilities, a neat tutorial called Fight Lab to teach you the basics, unrivaled customization (You can change just about anything, things ranging from music in the stages to character select panels!), and of course a complete overhaul for the online.

If you're a Tekken fan, I can say you won't be disappointed.

^ I had to get rid of Tekken 6 for this. What's the point? Better graphics, added/tweaked moves, music shenanigans, giant tag enabled beat downs, free characters and stages down the line.

Tekken didn't have shit in comparison and after launch support was nonexistent as far as content goes. Cut your losses and get TTT2, goddammit.

Sooooo the load times arent actually that bad and its just my PS3 thats on its way out.... DAMMIT.

I don't know what these loading problems are. Mine loads just fine. Never froze. It does take a few more seconds to load up a tag team preset or a custom outfit but nothing to complain over. Installing it took 10 minutes. I've heard it took people 30 minutes.

So far I only have an S rank on the first boss battle. I can see perfecting my Combot won't be easy.

The customization in this game isn't as good as it looked like it was going to be. They really dropped the ball on variety of different items for each character. Yes I know you can unlock a few items for each character but everything else is just pretty basic stuff that doesn't really stand out. Plus the guns you can put on the side of your character look bad when they go through a jacket. Things like the snowflake & ninja-star look bad when you can clearly see that it is floating behind the character and not actually on the back of their upper body piece.


Namco fucked up with it. It's alright at best.
