Hmmmm.....I agree with you. Twilight Sparkle is my favorite pony, beside Pinkie Pie. Oh, and she also has that "dark side" thing, like Pinkie. She has a psychopathic side, while Pinkie has that sad side.

In Friendship is Magic part 2 (Second episode of season 1), Applejack seems to be falling to her death off a cliff, but she can hold on without the help of her winged friends, no problem. She even went to help Twilight Sparkle from falling down a cliff. Then after Twi is caught safely by Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, Applejack just jumps down there with practically no effort.

In Applebuck Season, Applejack saved Ponyville from a stampede with only the help of her dog, Winona. Applejack, taking over for her injured older brother, works herself to the point of exhaustion in Sweet Apple Acres, the Apple family farm. Then works more, while helping her friends (whether or not the "help" helped anypony). After completing half of the work in the huge apple farm alone, faints for five minutes and then finishes the work with help from her friends.

In the Dragonshy episode, Applejack trots over the mountain while pulling a shocked pegasus in record time.

Party of One. Applejack is able to withstand Pinkie Pie's soul-burning stare. (Good thing it wasn't Fluttershy's stare of doom)

Pinkie Pie has her reality-bending and forth-wall breaking powers. Fluttershy has that stare and incredible animal empathy. Rainbow Dash is the fastest pegasus in Equestria, and the only known pegasus to perform a Sonic Rainboom (Rainbow performed a Sonic Rainboom once when she was a little filly). Rarity has her amazing fashion abilities. Twilight Sparkle is magic incarnate, pretty much.

Applejack has no awesome abilities, only her skills, cunning, and athletics. Even then, Applejack can keep up with the others and surpass them at times.

Applejack is the badass normal pony.

Season Finale was awesome!

Seriously though, I missed the whole damn thing and I want it all! The episodes along with the in-betweens with Tori an Pinkie Pie! Dammit!

First part was shocking! I swear this season finale is all for the Bronies! Party Canon Attack! Overall, I swear, a 10/10!

I feel like they should have saved this for a full fledged animated movie. That's how amazing it was. Seriously, it was like a Disney film (and if I'm not mistaken, features significant Little Mermaid allusions to boot). Let the withdrawal begin!
