Times You Shed A Tear In Gaming (Expect Spoilers)
Ever played a game where some moment happened where you feel something slowly moving down your cheek? You touch what it is and realize it's a tear? You're crying. You're actually crying because of something in a video game touched you. Touched you right there... in your heart.
*Points to your heart*
Tear jerking moment that I had was the ending to Metal Gear Solid 4. The first game that ever made me shed a tear. I shed a tear when I saw Snake helping Big Boss because he's slowly dying. And that last moment where you can tell he's going to inhale the last of his cigar, he looks up and says, "This is good, isn't it?" And BAM! Big Boss dies in front of Snake. In front of you. The whole entire time this scene takes place in a cemetery. Beautifully designed too.
I almost had two more tear jerking incidents happen, both by the same creators... Damn you Quantic Dream.
Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. Now note, I didn't cry or have any tears flow down my cheeks, but it almost happened.
With Heavy Rain, the moment you're playing as a young Scott and you see your brother drowning in a storm drain, you know shit is about to happen. You know this kid isn't going to live, but just how the scene played out, this is more dramatic than Jason dying when he and Ethan get hit by a car. It's because I guess you actually see him drowning. With Jason and Ethan, you hear the impact but you see the wife/mother screaming. You don't necessarily see them get hit.
And with Beyond: Two Souls, the scene when you're helping the homeless people out, Stan has kind of the more depressing part when Jodie talks to him as his wife.
So, what are your tear jerking moments?

I've never actually "shed" a tear from a game. The closest I've come though was with The Last of Us: Left Behind. There was some things that hit close to home with that one.
Pretty damn sad.
Pretty damn sad.
1. Kitana's Ending - Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
Goro's death (feel free to add quotation marks) was a very sad moment in the series for me. Seeing the funeral in her ending was so sad. On top of that, Kitana held a silent moment for Liu Kang. That was surely the icing on the cake of feels.
2. The Return of AZ's Floette - Pokémon X & Y
If you're playing X &Y and you haven't beaten the Champion yet, don't read this! Anyhoo, AZ's backstory is so darn depressing, but when his Floette finally returned after 3000 years - and AZ dropped to his knees in tears when he saw Floette - I was getting all choked up. It was such a nice ending for a game that takes no time at all to beat. lol
3. Wonder Woman's Speech - Injustice: Gods Among Us
After Wonder Woman beats the shit out of Psycho Wonder Woman, she gives this powerful speech to her fellow Amazons, urging them not to fighting the humans, and to save Superman rather than kill him. I gotta admit, I really did tear up when I heard this speech.

The Intro to The Last of Us
I almost started sobbing like a little bitch after the first 10 minutes. Then you realize that was just the intro, and that there was more to come. Much more...

The Last of Us, Henry and Sam. That's how my brother & I would be in that world. Sad.

When I first met Clanker in Banjo-Kazooie, I quickly turned off the console and started crying like no tomorrow. Pretty scary shit.

The original God Of War scene where he slaughtered his wife and daughter and the ashes of them scattered apon Krato's body. That was pretty heavy stuff. I don't mind saying I shed a tear.
Other then that I can't really think of another time where a game struck a cord with me.

For me, it is basically the entire Kingdom Hearts series, being one big, tear-jerker; but the biggest moment EASILY is Xion's death... I never got over that.

Thanks to MINION for taking my Siginity!

I've never actually cried in a game but a few examples where I almost felt emotion are..
Walking Dead Season 1, Finale.
Shadow of the Colloss..AGGRROOOOOOO
Bizzarely, I was really saddened by Bentley ending up in a Wheelchair at the end of Sly 2.

In Persona 4 Golden when Nanako was dying in the hospital
In the anime adaption I cried even more. AND IT WAS THE FIRST 3 MINUTES OF THE EPISODE. I swear the last few episodes explode with feels lol.
When I was little I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 on the Last Story and Shadow "died" I was like "NNNOOOO ;~;"
In Yakuza 3 when Rikiya took the bullet for you.
I will try to remember more.

Hmm, let me see. I never outright cry when I see something sad and touching in games or movies, but I do get misty eyed. One of the times I did so was at the end of Final Fantasy 10. I know alot of people think Tidus is really annoying throughout the game, however, I loved how his and Yuna's relationship evolved, and then for it to be taken from them like that is just so sad.
Oh, and though I agree the ending choices to Mass Effect 3 were pisspoor, I still felt sad about how it played out. The ending itself was good, but the way it was executed gameplay wise was really bad.
Hmm, what else... I know it's happened a few more times, but can't think of it right now. Might update this post when I think of some.
