What do you disagree on? It's not the shows fault what the people vote for. they just take the results and add put them on tv. Besides, they aren't always of. I think they did a good job with the Final Fantasy tribute.

Best Heroine: Aeries (Cause she was the first and last to die in the Final Fantasy series.)
Best Villian: Sephiroth
Best Summon: Knights of Round
Best Final Fantasy game: FF7

Chun Li - WTF?? shes number one?

Uh....yeah. I think it's a great choice, to me, sha can take on anybody, and she pretty much paved the road to all other fighting game girls to fallow, she's the origional, she's the best.
(Sorry Queve, but I think she can take Sonya anytime.) I still think that Alex Hendrickson should've made the list.

I must say... that's horrible. It's completely Final Fantasy 7. Aeris is not the best heroine in any way. Knights of the Round may be the strongest summon, but it is not the most visually pleasing throughout the entire series.

I guess it's 'cause the public thinks that Final Fantasy 7 is the best one of them all, so it had a clean sweep in all catagories. The Knights of round was voted as the best BECAUSE it was the most damaging, and it was like five minutes long. As for Aeris, I think it should've been Tifa, who was number 2 on the countdown, or anybody from FFX/ X-2. The reason that Aeris was so popular is because she is the only FF heroine to die in FF history. I also think that, that it event was what really proppelled gamers to finish the game and go after Sephiroth. Which is the best villian of them all.

I hope I'm not alone in this... but Aeris' death was anything but sad for me. I cheered Sephiroth on as he was doing the deed.

Yeah Garlador, I was also surprised that they didn't put Blood Rayne in the top 10. That's a shame. Now that I think about it, she totaly got screwed out of a spot, she could've atleast taken number 9 but no, they had to give it to some backwater lesbian striper in a golf game.

wtf? The girl survives a city full of zombies and a Nemesis... That's as badassed as it gets. Chun Li would have been the undead's lunch.... I'm crying foul on this here list.

Chun-Li would've taken those Zombies bare handed, and still would've vaporised them with her Kikosho. Plus, if you had the same armament that Jill had, youd probably survive also. Give me a chain gun, a flamethrower, and Rail Gun and I'm all set.

I hate hate hate hate HATE Final Fantasy. I think all their games are shitty & boring. Isn't it funny how RPG fans say Beat'em'ups (Think Streets Of Rage) are mindless and boring, then how the fuck is leveling yourself up from level 34 to level 67 not mind numbing?

I have to agree with Crow, I was a bit issed at the fact that FF7 dominated the Final Fantasy episode of Filter. Aries is in no way their best heroine, hell Tifa was more of a heroine and they were in the same game (but my choice goes for Rinoa from FF8). As for villian, I'll give that to Sephiroth, even though he doesn't appear that often throughout FF7. Best summon IMO goes to Bahamut (either FF8 or FF9). Best hero, ok here I'm really opinionated, but I gotta say Squall because he doesn't fit the same mold as the rest of the blondes, he doesn't whine, he is always torn between doing what is right and taking care of what he really cares about, and because he actually sacrifices it all in the end. Now I'll give credit where credit is due and say that FF7 is an amazing game, but 6,8,9 and tactic are just as great if not better in some cases.


As for the Badest Girls, it's not a bad list, but Chun Li at #1? I don't think I saw a single charecter from the SNK or Sammy camp, and their women wipe the floor with her.

No you weren't the only one to cheer him on. I can think of a few people, including myself, who were happy to see her die. She was a weak charecter who had no reason for being involved in the whole party. Death to the flower girl!!!!!!!!
