I recently bought the new Transformers game to see if it is "the" Transformers game (also, it's made in Australia, so why wouldn't I buy it?). Well I can tell you now is that the game is sweet! The graphics are high-tier (not Ninja Gaiden-grade, but close enough), the Mini-Cons are actually useful, the voice acting is cool, the boss battles are sweet (Tidal Wave blew me away), and the battles are intense.

The only things I have to say that are negative is that the levels are uninspired, and that it would be nice to be the Decepticons (being Megatron or Starscream would be l33t!!!!!1111)

Overall, Transformers is a great game, no matter even if it is based on the Armarda series not Generation 1. It makes me proud to be Australian as we are the ones that made a GOOD Transformers game.
