I just finished watching the series finale. I wasn't entirely happy with it. Actually, this whole season for the matter. This final season felt really forced and badly paced. While I don't want to go giving any spoilers away, I feel they left or forced a lot of characters out of the series without really closing things for them. Only to have them show back up during the final scene.

I kind of felt the same way with the final season.

I think by far the 4th season was my favorite with the necromancer.

There could of been so much more then the vamps and werewolf's and fairy's. We did see a fire monster though in 1 season which was badass.

I did enjoy Eric taking over the company though.

A lot of people thought it would of been better if bill survived by being hit by Sookie light but they think it was to predictable.

Overall thought the ending was meh. The entire series had its ups and downs but overall thought the series was pretty good but could of been better.

Sarah got hers which was classic.

It's a pretty terrible show, but I kept watching out of morbid curiosity and it's a fun kinda badness. Season 1 and 2 were good though. I wont miss this series.

Yeah I thought season 4 was interesting as well. Same for the season with the Vampire authority. I think they could have fleshed things out afterwards before killing off Eric's sister.

As far as the series finale goes, I wasn't expecting Sookie to save bill with her light, but I thought it was extremely selfish of her and out of character not to throw her light to kill bill. She basically complained all series about how her telepathy was a curse and how she longed to be normal.

Maybe we'll get a spin off series now following the other characters. I was kind of bummed out how they basically pushed certain characters out without really fleshing them out. Particularity Willa and the werepanthers.
