No joke, I'm so excited! I love Van Halen *icon*, they're my favorite band. I'm defenitely catching one of their shows near me! Gosh, this is sooo awesome. i doubt many young people on this site respect the older bands, but I sure as hell do! -Rock On!

Be glad it's not Roth and Haggar together. That didn't last.

I'm glad they chose Haggar. He kicked ass with Van Halen. Roth, he was ok for a while, but too damn goofy and fruity. Van Halen didn't need that from him after 1987. Their last singer, whose name I can't remember (and don't care to) pretty much killed the band. Christ, he sucked beyond anything. He wrote "Without You" in 45 minutes. Yeah, he had the voice, but just sucked beyond help in writing.

Well, I certainly like some of the older bands, like Van Halen, Def Leppard, Whitesnake,Flock of Seagulls,etc.
I haven't heard much of Judas Priest, but I think "You've got another thing coming" is pretty awesome.

I'll give it a couple of weeks before Eddie decides he doesn't like the bands direction again. I swear, he's worse than Steinbrenner...

Van Halen is doomed like GnR...they just need to give it up...
