Well, I didn't die, just had a hectic year to say the least. I've been coming here since this was back on gamers.com, I've had a few different s/n's, I'm pretty sure the last one I had here was Death Blooms (my name's Matt, if that helps anybody). Not sure how many of you will even remember me, I can see a few familuar names though, which is good. For the record, the only reason for yet another name change is the simple fact I have no idea what my old password is, being the forgetful fool that I am.

I've been kept off the net for a long while now due to problems with my computer, and before then I just had a long period of having no time for the net (lucky if I checked my email often enough not to get my account closed, sort of thing). It has probably been close to a year now since I was here and alot has happened. First and probably the biggest shock of all, I'm going to be a father any week now. Unfortunately the mother and I broke up all the way back in December of last year, for a change it was the girl who freaked out and did a runner, not the guy. Long story short - We met at her work (piercing studio), got off to a brilliant start and basically couldn't stand eachother 3-4 months into it (we were living together, part of the reason I didn't have net access). Of course by then she was already pregnant so here I am now. It's a pretty ugly situation sadly, since the break up she wont talk to me or return any of my calls. She has been spreading rumours about me, saying I don't want to see my son, that I've been calling her all hours of the morning to abuse her, etc. All BS of course, but naturally everybody believes the poor pregnant teen (she's 18, before I cop it from anybody) over a scumbag like me (apparently). Anyways, it's too long of a story to get into really, no need to tread on egg shells or anything, it's not a touchy subject (much, anyway).

Well, besides being a single parent by 20 which wasn't really on my list of things to do, everything else is going surprisingly well. Some of you probably remember that I'm hugely into music and have been doing stuff on and off for ages now. Well, on this new years eve past my current bands line-up was finalised and we've been writing and jamming like crazy all year with breaks here and there. We've got garaunteed gigs all over Melbourne/Victoria (I'm an Aussie, for any newer posters bothering to read this), a place on the shelves of "metal mayhem" lined up as soon as we record our self produced demo (biggest metal shop in the state, knowing that dude is handy as), and to top things off nicely we've been in contact with Metal Blade records (which is where 'Tallica, Slayer, Megadeth, etc got their start, I think Megadeth did anyway) and they want to hear our demo ASAP. We sent them midi's of our songs (vie email) and they more or less said "If you guys can pull this stuff off, you're as good as signed already".

Well, this is already way too long, I've always had a habit of doing that, lol. Anyways, I know there's a few pieces of big news in there, but I think I've proved myself as credible more often than not so you can all rest assured this is a BS free post.

How has everybody here been since I dissapeared (good, I hope)? A year is a while (I stopped in at MK earthrealm if it's still called that for 1 post last year when the mother and I were still together, lost my net after that though), atleast a couple of interesting things must've happened (besides the new MK game, I just found out about it a few minutes ago, talk about being out of the loop).

Anyways, you can probably count me in for atleast semi-regular posting again. Needless to say the next few months will be busy as hell and will probably turn my hair grey, but I should be around often enough anyway.
