Oh... The rapper. I'll listen to rap, But i don't really like most of it. Same thing with Pop and R&B. But he was shot 5 times? Damn. Was this before or after he became a rapper? Hes actually been shot 9 times. I do listen to 50 cents music alot, as well as his whole G-unit crew. I love his lyrics and such. I like rap period, i also like others like DMX, Eminem, obie trice, dr dre, snoop dog, bigL, jayZ, tupac, mobb deep, state property, necro, ETC.

As for 50 being the next tupac, HELL NO. 50 is nothing compared to tupac and he will never be like tupac. Tupac was someone with great potential, hes someone who is loved and has respect for, hes one of a kind, like a legend. 50 on the other hand isnt, and many rappers claim that 50 cent is indeed a "Snitch". Tupac was never a snitch.

Dont get me wrong though, i think 50 is awesome. I listen to his "beg for mercy" CD alot.

I don't like him and his music. I don't care anything for Rap. It's almost all the same, and if it is not the music then it's the rappers. All gangsters, very hard childhood, all grew up in the hood. It's getting really really old. I hope they come up with something new.

If that's not being a sheep, then I don't know what is. Don't get me wrong dude, it is cool if you like someone, but likeing someone sheerly through association is stupid. Like him for him, not because he's friends with Dre.

As for my opinion of him, ehh I'm not impressed. Pac and Biggie are the two that made rap huge in the first place, they are the Kurt Cobain of their genre. And yes they were impressive, infact they were the only reason that got me into rap for a very brief moment of my life. That all ended with Eminem and the commercialism of rap. No one is writing poetry anymore, it's all the same "bitches, money, and rolling deep" shit over and over. Nothing is new anymore either, they use they same beats, and stole a few from Pac (which would have pissed him off royally if he was still alive). Look I don't want to get into a whole debate about this, so I'll stop right here. If what I said pisses anyone off, I really don't care anymore. And for the ones that do get pissed, think about why you really are pissed, could it be because I'm right? You never know until you open your mind to what else is out there.

Make no bones about it, about 2 months before his cd dropped, everyone in the mixtape game was going nuts. That is when he was the best. His CD was really good too, but he got overplayed very very quick.

Hardcore isn't so different from rap. It's just as violent. And just like rap it doesn't have to be violent. It’s not rap that you should trash it’s the bad songs. Every genre has its bad and good.
