Well, there's alot of talking going around 50 cents, that thing about being shot 5 or 9 times maybe not even be true.

In fact, is whole ''story'' might in fact be a lie.

Lot's of people are saying that 50 cents is in reality from L.A. and that he really never had any momney problems.... So i don't really know what to think about the Man.

The music?? is another thing, I mean, He works with Eminem and Dre. So it's positive to say that he'll be popular as long as he do what Eminem and Dre tells him to do. Cause don't get him wrong, the kid don't even do half of the composition'' lyrics and Music'' work.

It's no big suprise that everybody who gets associated with Dr.Dre become famous. Cause he's just another Puppet who sings on Dr.Dre's beats.

But ehhhhh, people like it so.... May he reach the top and one day maybe he be half the man he Is told to be today.

Don't get me wrong but, please don't even compare 50 cents to Tupac or Biggie or RUN DMC or The Beastie Boys. It's to soon to do that, he haven't done anything new or create anything like Tupac or RUN DMC did.

He's just another rapper with money to back him up. The Money being Dr.Dre and Eminem.

Comments like these are the ones that take out the peace from the Forums. If you guys don't like 50 Cent, Rap or Hip Hop, it's cool but show a little of maturity when showing your point of view.
I'll talk to the Mods to close this thread because even with the warnings and Skull Points to other users, some doesn't realize that they can get their privilege of posting in these Forums stripped from them.

Wow, I am quite surprised to see my post being up there with the cases of immaturity, when you see other people constantly flaming others, even Hyuga which is an old member (I know since I've been here a while myself) Yet you seem to point out my immaturity? I was simply stating my opinion and even mentioned that I did not want to start any conflict. . . If you choose to look beyond the "no offence" and choose to make a point out of me, please be sure to make a point out of the people who seem to love to cuss on this forum they are also having the priveledge of posting, and I frankly, think my post wasn't as offensive as the majority of the posts in this thread.

I never liked Ja either. I only like one person on his label, Charli Baltimore, and she's a great rapper that needs better production values with her rhymes. Never liked 50. I always thought he was subpar and never really that good. Pretty much got famous with the gunshots and dre and em.

I had heard fifty cent and the G-unit before they came out with Dre. They had one hit called "got me a bottle" other than that they had a few appearances on like Juvenile songs and such... but rap for me was going through a slump until Fifty came out, he was hard core, he had delivery, hooks, a slurr to his voice and Eminems support... There was only ONE song that had Dre's beat and it was "If I can't". The man has street cred, he has been strugglin' and has enough lyrical power to bring down the ENTIRE Murder INC lable save Ashanti... Listen to some of his real songs like:

and those all from Get rich or die tryin'... So just Get Off Fifty cent, He is a Tupac like Rapper cuz he is telling his story, for me he's up there with the likes like Em DMX and Mos Def... Although i don't like the soft core attitude he's taking by singing with Joe and what Not...

I agree, Murder Inc is kinda whack and 50 owns them all, hands down. I haven't like 50 much since his mainstream debut, just cause he was way played out shortly there-after. But I haven't liked Ja since wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back in his Venni Vetti Vecci days. I won't hate, that album was tight and 'Holla Holla' was the anthem of the summer. But then at some point he completely faded away into some half assed R. Kelly.

The songs you listed are some of my favorite 50, and Patiently Waiting is great. Honestly, Eminem is hard as anybody on those gangster songs, shame the only ones that are popular are the more 'pop-ish' ones. Eminem has had some great hardcore stuff coming out lately, mixtapes, Dr. Dre's newest album, the couple tracks he drops with G-Unit..etc.
