You play as the bodyguard to royalty. During the siege of an enemy's castle your framed for Regicide and now have to prove your innocence while in the middle of a war between 3 other nations. Because of your unique look and reputation the locals don't exactly trust you, but they're too busy practicing hate crimes on other, lesser races. Tensions run high and your choices bare consequences, sometimes rather severe ones.

But in the end it's all about clearing your name, uncovering your memories and saving your lover.

A man gets ganged up on and slaughtered by no-good troublemakers, then he wants to take revenge, gets resurrected by Death, and completes his quest for vengeance. But afterwards, he has a duty to perform; it was his destiny to protect the life of the land through a monumental structure built in the beginning of time! But first, he has to fuck up the other guys who wouldn't do their fair share of the protecting of order. He does so, and decides this world isn't important enough to kill himself over, so he goes ahead and rules over the land instead.

You play a guy who is trespassing in a sacred land, led by the light of his sword and a ominous voice. Thats all.
