What game(s) will you play until MKX?

So with the current slow trickle of MKX news likely to continue until after the new year (aside from the possible -ality reveal here, guest character reveal there), I've begun to get hype for other game releasing soon.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire is at the top of my list. I've decided to train an all fighting-type team and give them MK character nicknames as a way to hold me over until the real MK comes out haha. Does anyone else do silly shit like that? I once created MK characters in The Sims 3 while I waited for a new MK game.

Speaking of The Sims, is anyone playing The Sims 4? Not me - but I'm curious.

Back to my list, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is next up. I don't care what anyone says, I dig Call of Duty. More than Halo, More than Battlefield. More than TitanFall. More than Destiny. I don't care. I actually haven't throughly played a COD title since Modern Warfare 3, so I'm actually long overdue to return to the scene, and the new Exoskeleton stuff has my super-duper hype.

I mentioned Destiny earlier; anyone playing that next week? Not me - but I'm curious.

Assassins Creed: Unity is a strong maybe. I've yet to purchase an AC title, but I've been enticed to do just that for the past 2 years. This may be the year I finally take the plunge. The whole co-op "Unity" thing has been keeping me interested this year.

Evolve! From the developers of the Left 4 Dead series! Pushed back into 2015 (dammit), but I' still interested. It'll be a great game to play during the first few month of 2015 before MKX. I dig the concept so far, and I really miss L4D, so I'm down for this game thus far.

Lastly, Batman: Arkham Knight. Am I the only one who has never played through an Arkham game (including last year's prequel)? My brother is a huge fan, and I've watched him play through the games when they release, but I've played for myself. I'm changing that with Arkham Knight. This is a must-buy for me after Pokemon and COD. And theres a playable Red Hood too!

Dragon Age: Inquisition is my top game till Mortal Kombat X. I love RPGs since it is my favourite genre of video games and this looks like it has got a huge lifespan.

The Witcher 3 releases early next year so I would play that next. This game has a lot riding on it and lot of excitement. I just hope it lives up to expectations.

Super Smash Bros is going to be another game that I am going to buy and play a lot. I played the other three and were always amazing with lots of content.

Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are also pretty high up on my list if only because I have played every single Pokemon game in the main series. I always thought the orginal Ruby and Spaphire were by far the worst in the series. They were so bad that the only redeeming feature was the contests which thankfully are back. Hoenn itself sucks.

Civilazation: Beyond Earth will also be a pick up since I am love the 4X strategy genre. These games are major time sinks and have huge replay value so no problem waiting for Mortal Kombat X when I get this.

Pretty much Destiny all next week. I've been killing time playing LoL and Doa5U (Nyotengu das waifu) aaaand working a fuck ton. A few games that kinda have my interest are Shadow of Mordor and the Evil Within. Thought about preordering those ones but bleh.

Go ahead and call me boring, but the only thing I have up my sleeves right now is Minecraft.. shit.

I guess I'll occupy myself with Smash 4 when it comes out, I might get Mario Kart 8 too.

I also have... Swing Copter. I am the worst person on the face of the earth.

I have no taste in video games.. :(

Without a doubt, Killer Instinct. The game is good beyond words, and when the new patch roles out, it's going to be unbelievably better.

That's about it. Other than fighting games, I don't really game much anymore.

I probably won't get MKX unless Nitara is on it. So... Most likely I won't be getting the game.
So I'll be playing Mario Kart 8 and Smash Wii U.

I dont have or want a Wii U, so if I get Smash, it'll be the 3DS version. I hear it will be the inferior version...or at least not as great experience as its Wii U counterpart. Has anyone else heard this sentiment?

Inferior in graphics definately although that is completely obvious. The only other thing that differentiates the two titles is different stages from what I know.

As time draws closer to release, I'm going to walk the traditional "MK Memory Lane". It's always a great refresher and it swells my hype.

The new Pokémon games would be on my list but I still haven't gotten a 3DS but I don't plan on buying one just for Pokémon. I kind of want to though lol I need to catch up, up until black 2 and white 2 I had played and completed every game in the series but I really didn't want to get a 3DS just for that.

Oh and MK1, 2 and UMK3, those stay in my playlist until a new game comes out, then I play and complete the new game or until I get bored with it, then go back to MK1, 2 and UMK3 :)

I don't think there is anything else. I'm not sure when Splatoon or Yoshi Wolly World is being released. I might keep an eye on Ori and the Blind forest and the Witcher, but I'm not sure if I'm going to pick either of them up. I also want to look into Under Night In-Birth, but I think it's coming out too close to MKX's release that i will probably skip it.

I'm pretty sure they both also have different music tracks as well.
The Evil Within and Dragon Age: Inquisition are the only upcoming releases that have really caught my eye. Other than that, I'm replaying the God of War trilogy (... again. Fucking love those games), Bioshock Infinite, and The Last of Us.

I'm only going to get a PS4 or XBOX ONE when the Kollector's Edition comes out. Just the game, not the bundle pack which includes the Scorpion Statue/figure.

I'm not too fond of the XBOX controllers, as the PS controllers fit snug in my hands. Another thing is that the PS3/4 joysticks are side by side and XBOX 360/ONE's are spaced. I find it weird. I use the D-Pad while playing MK, don't really "dig" the joysticks.
XBOX (360/ONE) you can by the points to spend on DLC or other stuff. For PS3/4, you have to have have a credit card or something like it to buy DLC and what not. So XBOX has the upper advantage there.

Most-likely, PS4 will be my choice when the time comes for MKX:KE to come out. If I want the initial game, I'll buy the XBOX ONE, lol.

Just finished up South Park: The Stick of Truth. If you haven't played this game and are a fan of the show...than you are a doo doo head and should rectify the situation immediately. Good stuff.

I intend to get Shadows of Mordor and WWE 15 in October. GTAV for next gen in November...provided the rumors are true. After that I don't know. The Order has my attention, but its pretty much getting eaten alive by the press right now. But Ready at Dawn has earned some trust after their amazing God of War games.

Hopefully something else will grab my attention before April. Can't wait for MKX.

I've been playing a lot of Killer Instinct (absolutely love that game!), so season 2 is a day 1 purchase for me. I've also been playing Child of Light, Trials Fusion, Dead Rising 3 and the new Madden.

I have Sunset Overdrive and Dragon Age: Inquisition paid off on reserve and $40 in credit, but no clue what to spend it on. Any thoughts?

I'm not in to shooters, but I enjoyed the first Halo way back when, so Master Chief Collection is a possibility. I really liked the demo for Project Spark, but I'm not sure how much I'd really play a full version. Also looking forward to Ori and the Blind Forest and Batman: Arkham Knight.

So many games coming out soon!!
