well, in all actuallity, i have to say gta3, yeah, vc has more weapons, and more accesibility, but gta3 was larger, more easier, and had more of an upbeat feel.

and aswell not the accurence of the fact that using cheats lowers your criminal rating.

so gta3 gets my vote.

I like GTA3 better, 'cos it has a better talk radio station, a better plot, you can get money just by blowing up cars and there's dub reggae on the radio. What could possibly top that?

As much as i like VC, the weapons and 80's style and everything, my vote goes for GTA III as well. The story was better, and I liked the overall atmosphere of Liberty City much much better.

The story was much better too, IMO. Just like the review said, it was a 'Mafioso masterpiece'. I am hoping San Andreas picks up a more serious tone(the somewhat light feel VC had was ok for one game, but one game only).

i like Vice City best due to the fact it has better radio. because british music kind of reigned the 1980's most of the music on it are songs that i actually know.
someone said GTA 3 was easier but i have to disagree with that. i found vice city alot more easier

VC, by all means. I found it more of a challenge, I love rock and metal (which was absent throughout GTA3), and I love the 1980's. It couldn't have been better for me.

they both have pros and cons. first im gonna talk about gta3.

gta3 pros:
great cars
some weapons are good like a cooler flamethrower and M16
the mafia feel
alot of car boosting in the storyline

cons:
the city feel-i just didnt like the feel of the city and its bleak look.
the story-just being a running boy is stupid.
the non realism-only putting this because you couldnt pop the tires or damage cars by meele weapon
the radio-the music sucked. could only stand chaterbox and some of kjah otherwise i was listening to my custom track of ac/dc and tom petty
less freedom-not as much freedom as in vc
the style- didnt like the nyc feel or the gabgs and stuff
and the main character-doesnt talk and is tupid most of the chracters suck like maria. only liked toni and askua


and now pros and cons of vice city:
pros:
weapons-are great like the different type of weapons and different styles of weapons like 3 different types of shotguns
the radio-the music was great. vrock and vcpr. flash fm. all the stations are great
the story-becomeing a player of the town and owneing bussiness is great. the story is just better
the abylity to own property-being able to own new relstate is great and having new hideouts.
the style- the 80's style is great. remembering the 80's and the terrible crap that insued the 80's
owneing bussiness-a good way to make money
cars-fast and great. look kool and shiney! and also haveing the abilty of fast boats, bikes, and helicopters gave more freedom
chracters- great kool fun chracters and great voice talent.
freedom-the freedom is great. have alot of freedom
the missions-the missions are fun and great.


cons:none at the moment. ill come back and think of something later

verdict-vice city. i like it better vice city is great and better then gta3 in my opinon and acording to my thisthingisdisabledution.

I like GTA3 better actualy. Vice City had some nice additions (like the motorbikes and helicopter's) but I prefer GTA3. I think the story is better, maybe I just don't like the 80's theme...
