All right I wrighting this as a comic book fan but as I see the movie that are based on the comics all see mistake that are very easy to corroct. First in The Punsisher they make it so he a cop and that he dose not have daughter. In the comic he was in the miltary and was geting medal when he and his familly where shot up in central park when they witnessed a gangland killing. Why can't they keep the small fact the same it not that hard to wright a movie that keeps the basect jest of the the comic. Why do they not do what seems to be so easy to do.
To answer the title's question, I believe Man-Thing comes out next.
As far as the film makers changing aspects of a character, as long as it doesn't damage the character in any way, I'm fine with it. Frank's family gets killed in both the comics and the movie so that's ok.
Seriously, would you want the movies to follow the comics right down to the last period of every sentence of every panel? If that were the case Dr. Octopus should have been trying to marry Aunt May in Spider-Man 2.

Don't know. Movies can be pretty dumb with their differences from the comics, but Spiderman is mostly near the comic. Movies that are coming out in the future I can't wait to see. Fantastic Four and Batman 5. I hope those are good, and I don't want Batman 5 to flop like Batman and Robin did.
I am waiting for the Fantastic Four movie to be released in theaters. I enjoyed the comic book and the movie should do fine if it followed the stories in the comic.
I am looking forward to see the Thing, he is my favorite member of the Fantastic Four and I really want to know what he will look like. I wonder how much money will be put into the production of this movie?

I can't wait for The Fantic Four Movie to come out. It sounds like it's going to be great. I also heard a rumor about Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in his own movie. I know Samus from Metroid is not a comic but in Wizard they said there was going to be to be a movie made.

As of right now I only know of the following comics that are to be made into movies within the next year or so:
The Fantastic 4
Green Arrow
Green Hornet(Kevin Smith is directing, this should be great)
Batman Begins
Green Lantern
Namor the Submariner
Daredevil 2
X-Men 3 (in limbo right now)
Spider-man 3 (2007)
Superman (in limbo)
Blade Trinity
Elektra
Iron Man
Wonder Woman (still just an idea being tossed around)
The Flash
Plastic Man
And finally:
A possible Wolverine movie
I donno about you guys, but I am starting to get sick of comicbook movies. It's not that I have something against the idea, its just that there are just WAAY too many being made. Hollywood needs to relax, because at this rate we are going to end up with more "Catwoman"s and not enough "Spider-man 2"s. They get lazy with the research and just slap on the name on any piece of action trash. A a comicbook fan these movies feel like a double-edged sword: I love hearing that my favorite charecters are getting put on the big screen, but then they ruin the story by changing shit around.

My thoughts exactly on all of them. There are probably more, but like I said those are the only ones I know.

Don't forget Iron Man and Dr. Strange are being produced!
Also, ghost raider
I just hope they don't choose Nicholas Cage for ANY of these movies!!! (The guy keeps reading for action parts... while he looks like he's been dead for 20 yrs!!!)

I mentioned Iron Man, forgot Ghost Rider, and had no clue about Dr. Strange. Seriously, that's just way too many comic book movies. PLEASE, HOLLYWOOD STOP! They are really going to far. It's getting so bad that I (along with friends) have tried to name charecters who have yet to get movies, or may never get movies. Try it with your friends, it's fun.

Just clarifying, Batman Begins is not a sequel, it's the begninning of an entirely different take on the Batman story.
And I remember awhile back Warner Bros. or somebody purchased the rights to Aquaman. Lol, an Aquaman movie.

Ohh I can see it right now:
Summer of 2006, 4th of July weekend watch the ultimate comic hero battle:
DC's Aquaman opening up against Marvel's Submariner.
Note to all, I'd like to just clear this up before I start any confusing, those arn't the actual relese dates for either movie. I was just being cynical.

When they make a batman returns movie I hope it will be base on Frank Millers Batman year one because that guy wrights the best Batman comics.
speaking of Frank Miller, Sin City is going to be made into a movie, and is projected to be released in 2005... although it feels more like a graphic novel than a comic-book, if ever there was a comic to be turned into a movie it's this... Miller's even co-directing, so purists should be happy
*EDIT: I agree, there are too many comic-movies being released. But $ talks, and too publishers are more than willing to whore out the license (that's how we end up with crap like Cat-Woman). Eventually they'll saturate the market and no one will want to see another one... ever...

In an interview the writer for the film, David S. Goyer, said he based his script on Miller's Batman: Year One. The movie also focuses on how he becomes Batman, with the first half of the movie being on it. And staying true to the comics, the killer of his parents is indeed Joe Chill, and not Joker or something like that. I'm so excited about this movie.
