What is your political affiliation?
I support the Republican party, but I prefer to be simply called a Fiscal Conservative. I have crossed lines, even though I can't vote. I supported a Democrat for Representative, but in Idaho a Democrat anywhere else is a Republican. I was dissatisfied with his performance so in thehe next election, I backed his opponent and he was unseated.
Whig.
in my other life, I'm *pretty* left- I live in LA, after all
I don't support any legislation that seeks to limit the rights of "normal" people (the non-child-molesting kind).
I don't like either of the current parties, either. We need two or three more, IMO. But NOT as many as India
I do think Obama has done well, though. He's not perfect, but he's managed to lead us out of an awful situation, into a situation which is merely bad.

I wholeheartedly support the Party for Representation of Eldritch Abominations. Why support the lesser evil when you can help Great Cthulu

Yeah, as much as it is funny the way so many shows mock the GOP, it still isn't right, I'll admit.
Republicans have been deemed real-life super villains in the U.S.

It is, and I don't like the thought of my parents being considered super villains just because they lean to the right. But, there's nothing I can do about it.

Good enough for /b/ good enough for me.
Centrist
It's so hard for me to vote. Our systems are very flawed. And no matter who we put in charge they always seem to screw more shit up in our country than actually help our country. Sometime I wonder why I bother to vote.

Because you've been indoctrinated since childhood to believe that voting is something you are required to do or else you are a bad person and the reason the world is so fucked up.
Ironically, voting for bad choices is far worse than not voting at all.
Don't worry, it's usually not the only thing you've been indoctrinated since childhood to believe. And childhood indoctrinations are difficult to break.

Nobody I know votes actually. The reason I want to vote is because I feel it's my duty as a citizen of America. But I always feel like I have to vote for the lesser of two evils. I just wish a president would go in and change our voting systems, worry more about America than Libya, Iraq, or Afghanistan. And stop putting us further in the hole. Don't give money to companies that fail because America is built on free market and the government should keep it's nose out of it.

Generally politicians are interested in involving themselves with things that can grab the attention of Americans, such is war and religion. Most any politician is guilty of doing this, regardless of his or her party of choice. They aren't truly interested in improving the country, but who could blame them? Neither are the majority of Americans.
