Well I have a diverse musical interests. I listen to:

Hip Hop/Rap: Jay Z, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Black Eyed Peas, , Nappy Roots, and Canibus.

Rock, Metal and Alternative: Smashing Pumpkins, Linkin Park, Metalica, Korn, Queen, Joan Jett, and Radiohead.

Gothic: Vitriola so far. Pretty tough to pick out the exact kinds of sounds I like with this genre. sad But, I'll keep looking.

Classical: Beethoven, Bach and Mozart.

Mainly hardcore, punk, and metal; but really a little bit of everything, even classical. Hell, I've even been getting into a little techno lately (ie. Juno Reactor).

Mostly just metal.

Fear Factory, Testament, Pantera, Slayer, Dream Theater, Anthrax, Metallica (Pre-Load), RATM.

There are always exceptions though:
Pearl Jam, 311, Nirvana and early 90's Grunge...Plus the occasional 80's metal and anime music.

hard rock, trip hop, some hip hop, and techno (electronic, jungle, trance, etc).

the only actual rap i like is from Zack De La Rocha, Cypress Hill, N.E.R.D, Kyprios, Project Wyze, and Maestro. not much compared to how many artists i like in the other catagories.
