Hey,before I start,I would like to assure you that I am not a rapist or a CIA assassin.I would just like to know what city you live in the states or country.
I am from Philly. Its not the best city but it could be worst.Crime rate is probably the same as NY or Detroit(not that bad!) Philadelphia has its beautiful and peaceful hoods or nightmarish, dirty, blood stained hoods.
Unfortunately,I reside in a nightmarish, dirty, blood stained hood called Kensington but I make the best of it.I've only been to two other states.New Jersey and New York.Same thing with Jersey,it has awesome neighborhoods but then NJ unfortunately has Camden county which is a very crime stricken hood just waiting to explode.I was like....10 or 11 when I first traveled to New York and I loved it! I never wanted to leave!
Your Turn!

I'm from Modesto, California. It's about a half an hour away from Sacramento. Always hot. Nice place. Palm trees fucking everywhere. I miss Modesto. It was a good place. Then my friend put me through a drug deal and I'm like
FUCK THIS, I'M OUT.
I've been to Oregon, Idaho aaaaaand Mexico. And yes, I went through the border legally. All I can say is brown. Brown everywhere.

I live in the Chicago suburbs. It's not bad. I used to live closer to the city when I was younger, but after working downtown for a few years, I'd have to say that I prefer the burbs a lot more.
Chicago's a beautiful city to visit, with great architecture, museums, sports teams, night life, shopping etc. But to me, it's a crappy place to work and I'd never in a million years want to live there. Too much crime, too many pan-handlers that are usually (though certainly not always) mean as hell, too much political BS and everything is WAY too expensive.

I'm from a small town called Orofino, Idaho which is located in north central portion of the state. It's a place with very little in the way of entertainment or amenities, however it has plenty of timber and forestland. I'm grateful to have come up in a small town, I think it's made me more grateful for things such as theatres, restaurants, museums, and other things I never had growing up.
Now, I'm going to college at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Fairfax is like nothing I've experienced before. Deciduous forests, urban settings, public transportation, and the eastern mindset are completely foreign to me. It's made me realize I am truly a westerner at heart.

Well I'm from the other side of the Atlantic to the rest of you. I was born, raised, and still living in Dublin City, in the Republic of Ireland. Not the most amazing city in the world by any means but it's got it's virtues. Amazing sense of humour, rainy weather (I love the rain) and some of the nicest pub grub you'd ever get your hands on.
Though funnily enough, I've always wanted to move to Chicago to work on a Mortal Kombat game and go work for Warner Brothers, so here's hoping I fly the nest in the next few years.

Born, raised and still living in Seattle, Washington
I live in the great city of Chicago, which is honestly not as great as it used to be.
Crime here has risen a lot, but only in select places. I happen to live on a pretty quiet street, so I'm lucky. Beside the crime, Chicago is still a very beautiful place, and downtown is still amazing. I've lived in many places, but I always end up back home. I just can't leave Chicago behind, but I'm not complaining. I love my home, especially since it's the birthplace of Mortal Kombat.

Well I was born in Long Beach, CA. I've lived in Reno, NV for 9 years though.

I live in Aurora, Colorado. Although there are nice areas of Aurora, it has a high crime rate (theater shooting aside). The weather here isn't bad, although we had a really hot, smoky, dry summer.
I've lived in different Denver metro-area cities like Englewood, and Centennial, and of course, Denver itself. I also lived in Pueblo (which is about 100 mi south) for awhile.

I spent a couple of days in San Antonio, and I really liked it. It's a beautiful city. I really enjoyed the river walk.
I've also been to Chicago, which is a wonderful place to visit. We went to the Shedd Aquarium, which I think is one of the best aquariums in the world (and I've seen a lot!)

I love that river walk, too.
I've only been to San Antonio once (for only two days), but that beautiful river and bridge is what I remember most. I wanted to ride the tour boat, but never got around to it.
I actually haven't been to the Shedd Aquarium in years. I really want to go back to Lincoln Park Zoo, though. My childhood is there. lol

Omaha, Nebraska! Yeah, pretty boring here sometimes . . . but I'm mostly on this little piece of land called M.K.O. Island, so it keeps me occupied while I watch and admire Mr. Marriland himself.
