I would love living in the mid west outdoors.Yes it may seem boring but I don't travel alot plus I would like to take a break from the city/factory life and be surrounded by trees,mountains,rivers.and wildlife.

ORLY? Me...too! I'm on the North Side. It's gettin' ridiculous around here with all the shootings. Not to miss-represent the city though, it's still is a great hiding place for folks who want to escape the hustle and bussel of the Texases, New Yorks, or Californias. Or, if you really just want to raise your kids without much of an interruption. Right now Omaha is a progressive city that is consuming those even smaller "cornfield" like cities the media always tries to paint us as...

What makes it "boring" here is that the powers that be don't want to allow bigger city habits to "infect" the environment too much. Don't move here if you want an illustrious nightlife, a bunch of casinos, or big, loud, or obnoxious....anything, really. We've been tagged "Little Chicago"...we are right smack in the middle of the map... Omaha, Ne.
