As far as rock goes, i think it's just too damn hard to tell. As far as hip hop goes, i'd agree with Del, or maybe even Charli 2Na (I'm bound to have spelt that wrong).

now you know what ur talking about. bob dylan IS in the top 5 greatest lyricist. jerry garcia and mccartney and lennon worte great songs too. del funk is pretty good although i dont really like his song s except you gotta wash your ass or else you'll be funky. george harrison wrote good songs to and so did clapton.
