well i heard that Jude Law is favourite to be become the next 007 which is ok. i think Orlando bloom would make a good james bond.

Actually I hear that Pierce Brosnan will star in one more 007 movie.But I heard after that they were seriously consendering russel crowe(sorry if i spelled his name wrong.)

Hugo Weaving!!!! Hmmmmmm... that dude is areally good actor!! I've seen quite a few of his movies. Hmmmmmmm.... I think that would be a good choice!

My chioce would be Adrian Paul from the Highlander series and movies.

I agree, Adiran Paul reminds me of Sean Connery who was the original Bond. I think it would be cool to see the classic Bond style be revived with Adrian Paul.

Why do actors do that? What exactly is Pierce Brosnan gonna do thats bigger than James Bond? Dante's Peak 2? He should just stay in his role. Like Tobey Macuire with Spiderman, after Spiderman 3 he doesnt want to do anymore, what exactly could Tobey possibly do that'll be bigger than making more Spiderman films? He probably wont make as much money with any other movie.

I am tellin you, Adrian Paul looks just like the classic original Bond. He should be the next one, the man even has Sean Connerys accent.

Give him a haircut and put the man in a tux and you'll see he's the one that can play Bond. As for the accent, he doesn't have connery's accent, but he's adept at using different ones from his Highander days.

Better yet, I wonder if he has a website so I can tell him to go audition for the role.

For my pick I'd go with Ewan McGregor. I think it's time he got out of the young Obi Wan shadow. If anyone has seen his films you'd know he could pull it off. It would be fun to watch and see how he does it.
Though I could see the point of people wanting to see Adrian Paul take it. I think he's lacking in the star power the studio would want. Even if he has the built-in Highlander fanbase.
I don't see Jude Law doing it just because of the physicality involved. But then again he was in that war movie "Enemy At The Gates".

Orlando is too young and too pretty to be Bond. I love Orlando, but can't see him in this role.

Hugh Jackman IMO is perfect for the role. Right age, right look Handsome and refined and can look good rough. Right age range. Already proven to be able to do action.

Jude Law is too thin for me. And he's too artsy and pretty for me too. I can't see him or his hairline being Bond.

I haven't heard of the other actors mentioned.

I did hear a rumor that the next Bond films were supposed to be "prequel" types, more towards the beginning of his career. Can we say DESTROY THE FRANCHISE!!! What is this obsession to make prequels. I hate this idea for established genres and franchises. Star Wars worked, but I don't remember any others that have been successful.

I can't imagine a Bond Prequel doing well. They'd have to have crappier gadgets and older cars and clothes. I just hate the idea completely.

See, the question of physicallity also comes up with McGregor I think. He's got the attitude to play Bond I'll admit.

With Paul, I think the Bond franchise could boost his name a lot, if the studio puts everything behind him. If they go for a low tech movie that doesn't need special effects like License To Kill and go more with a good story, then he'd do well I think.

From what I saw on E! not even a month ago, Pierce is still Bond, and they said the rumors of him stopping are not true...

Can someone post a link confirming he is done?? I really hope not, cause he makes a damn good Bond, and like Alpha said, his other movies are....well...yea..

Chicks seem to dig him almost as much as they dig me, and I think a few effects and gadgets (and English accent) he could do well..
