who is sick of people blaming mk for violence

Gotta love this old arguement.....MK can not be blamed for violence. People have been killing each other for years before Midway created that first Mortal Kombat game. Was Mortal Kombat to blame when a teenager climbed a clock tower on the University of Texas campus with a rifle? Was Mortal Kombat to blame when a group of people drank poisoned kool-aid on the order's of their spiritual leader in the middle of a jungle? Was Mortal Kombat to blame for millions of men, women and children being gassed, tortured, starved, etc in certain camps? What about the crusades? Witchhunts? Roman 'sporting' events? Cain and Abel? Violence has always been around and will most likely always will be. It's how people handle that violence is what's changing. It use to be the person who actually who shot the gun, stabbed the person, etc who was blamed and punished. Today it is TV, movies, video games, etc are to blame and punished for someone, which the creators most likely never even met or heard of, actions. The problem is not the entertainment but the people's shift in defining responsiblity.!Quote
YES YES YES!!!!!!!

I think that if ppl that have like Angert Management problems a convicted felon or anyone that has issues with violence and shit like that should not play violent games, because well, there crazy.
Mortal Kombat is a violent game yes, but it shouldent be blamed for violence, the people that committed the violent act should be blamed because they know the laws, and they broke it, dont hold a game for someone elses stupid decision
" Guns dont kill people. People kill people"

If kids have not played any violent game, movie or show but still do something bad it's funnelling out somewhere. Maybe from the news (lol).

No,and I'm glad because there are a lot of young MK players. I even had it when I was 2! I can't tell you a 2-15 year old that I don't know(from school, friends and other forums) that doesn't play MK.
For the thread question, yes,I am tired of people saying that GTA,MK.etc. are teaching children to do bad things.I didn't go on a rampage of heart-ripping,hat thorwing, bicycle kickin',dragon morphin',acid spitin' and spear-flinngin' when I was 2.See,nobody can throw a spear out of thier hands or turn into a dragon.I bet 1,000,000$ that no one in the govermant has played a violent video-game,and experienced the action and fun. They need to stop whinnin' about it if their not gonna do anything about it!
