It's easy to tie the family sharing to gamer tags. There's a form of this with the Xbox Live family plan on Xbox 360. You don't need "always on" DRM for this.

As for saying MS can simply reverse their decision regarding their DRM policies, this better be CLEARLY laid out in the ToS for Xbox One and Xbox Live, or you're going to see a MASSIVE lawsuit.
