I haven't bought uncharted 3 just yet but I will next week and if its anything like the last I'm sure I'll enjoy it immensely. The multiplayer Beta was so much fun this summer.

Havent played Arkaham City... but i got a slight suspicion it would b up there

Portal 2 is one of the best games of all time, no question.

I don't play much, but Arkham City wins it, followed by MK a hair behind.

i also bought the kinect this year so thats pretty fun

Mortal Kombat the only fighting game I ever played consistently for over half a year,

Assassin's Creed Revelations has me hyped as ever, getting it for the Holidays, cannot wait

That all plus Tekken and MGS will keep me super busy until Dead or Alive comes out next year.

I'm dying to play the new Dead or Alive! It looks so good!

Oh I forgot Crysis 2 and Killzone 3.

In no particular order...

1) inFAMOUS 2 (underwhelmed by the endings, but nowhere near a gamebreaker)

2) Mortal Kombat (met my expectations and excelled beyond what I thought NRS was capable of)

3) Batman: Arkham City (how the hell do you match or even top arkham asylum? Answer, this game)

4) WWE All Stars ( a bit light on modes, but this is more or less the nba jam of wrestling games)

5) Bulletstorm ( I hate first person shooters, how did this happen?)

6) God of War Ghost of Sparta( gasp, they still make games for the psp!)

The only reason uncharted 3 and gears of war 3 aren't on here is because I havnt played them yet.

Tbh, Duke Nukem Forever was poo poo

Gears of War 3: The third and closing chapter to the third-person shooter. I love the game play so much. For the most part, everything is pretty well balanced. My only gripe is that god damn Sawed Off Shotgun. That gun can burn in fire arm hell. At the least, they should make that gun a pick up weapon and not used from the get go. The campaign was pretty solid. Not as good as Gears 2 campaign, but it was good nonetheless.

The characters were all pretty likable as well. Dizzy and Aaron Griffin being my two most favorite.

Mortal Kombat 2011: Hands down the best fighting game I have ever played in a long ass time. The game play is pretty top notch and the return to the awesome 2D plane is cool. Sure, most would say the story sucked major ass, but I thought it was fun to play. The challenge tower took some work to get through all of them, and the addition for tag matches is great. The online community is terrible...but it's always fun to play with your buddies.

Catherine: This game. This game was mind bending. The puzzles were very challenging, and at points, pretty frustrating, but it was solid. The story was good too. I think what got me into this game was the atmosphere. It just might be the first ever Horror-Erotic-Puzzle game.





That's all I can really think of that I played and actually enjoyed for the most part.

Its been a great year in gaming, no doubt.

I'd say Arkham City is the best game I've played all year. Mortal Kombat is a very close second and Pokemon White is third.

Of course all of this can change once Skyrim comes out
