Nekron is a really cool character. I know in the canon storyline it's UN-likely. But Nekron and Grundy would be a cool rivalry.

yep. i even read the only gl annual where he first appeared in

blackest night was a decent event and i just stuck with the core 7 books and not the however many spinoffs

krona is a fallen guardian and is a bad ass. he was the major villain before the whole new 52 reboot
