i just played the demo and it felt very similar to watchmans fighting gameplay with splinter cells nightvision goggles. does anyone agree.

the coolest character i saw in the video was poison ivy. she looks very detailed and dark. other characters in the video that looked cool was bain.

did anyone preorder this game.
i don't plan on getting it but it was a fun while it lasted.

Completed all predator challenge with all medals. It got harder when I done extreme versons since I couldn't use gargoyles,.so I had to get it right in one go. Hardest medal to get was three on three (knockout 3 guys with 3 differnt walls)

Yeah i thought so too. I think if the thugs spot you even the slightest, it throws off their pattern routine so that you can't get it.

what I did was run right and plan the explosive on the ceiling under the walk way, then grapple up to the office and planted te explosive there, then made my way to the back room wall, and planted it there, before grappling up to the vennt above that wall to get a better angle on everyones location.

What I done was plant one explosive at bottom floor then made my way to to ceiling then office. After that I had get to bottom floor without getting caught and hide in ground vent wait for the guy to get to bottom floor. Throw sonic batarang at at bottom floor explosive to get the guy move towards wall. I had to time it right because if I done it too early, I would miss other guy at ceiling. Done it too late then I would get other guy near office come down.

It's one of those medals that look harder than it really is.

I absolutely love this game. I was highly skeptical and refused to let the hype get to me until the game was released and the review scores poured in. Easily a Game of the Year contender. Playing through on Hard difficulty was very rewarding too.

But what really pushed this game over the edge was just how maticulous and detailed the world was, from the way characters behaved to background information and subtle hints.

Here's a few awesome things and viral marketing tie-ins I bet MANY people didn't realize on their first (or second) play through the game:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
1. Ra's Al Ghul's body later disappears from the morgue;
2. The website mentioned over the intercome is a real website: www.arkhamcare.com;
3. One of the links on that website directs you here: http://www.gothamcitymunicipal.com/, which contains info on the Blackgate Prison fire...
4. ... and there's a nurse who comments about it, asking you to e-mail her at this address: drwmaga@blackgateprison.com. Do it if you want some amazing backstory about the game;
5. The ending to the game is randomized, so it's either Croc, Bane, or Scarecrow's hand that grabs the Titan;
6. Scarecrow's audio session talks about Dr. Murphy and Dr. Combs, a reference to Cillian Murphy from the movie and Jeffery Combs, the animated series voice actor;
7. The tombstone in the third Scarecrow section is a direct reference to the same scene from the recent Grant Morrison "Batman RIP" storyline
8. If you lose against Bane, he breaks your back like he did in his first appearance in Batman: Knightfall
9. There are multiple references to the "Injustice Gang" in newspapers and scattered magazines in the game
10. Batman's gadget inventor, Lucius Fox, is routinely mentioned as a designer of several Arkham security devices

Awesome, eh?

Hey everyone...

As many of you may (or may not) know, Batman: Arkham Asylum has been getting alot of free DLC love recently.

You may also be aware that Xbox360 and PC owners in the US haven't gotten the new DLC pack "Prey of Darkness"... because apparently Sony paid them off in America or MS had issues with the American release. Great for PS3 owners... sucktacular for everyone else.

But I wanted to let US Xbox360 owners know there is a loophole. The new DLC is completely unavailable in the US for the time being, but international owners have total access to the new DLC content, such as the UK.

... so the loophole is that you can create a UK account (via hotmail), link it to your Xbox360, and download the content our UK and PS3 bretheren are enjoying right now. I learned this when a UK friend of mine shared that little secret.

I have no idea if this same approach works with the PC version with Windows Live or not, so I don't know if they're still out of luck, but I figured many Batman fans who got the 360 version (about, oh, 2 million of us) would like to enjoy everything the game has to offer.

Bane and Poison Ivy kicked ass. If they make another one like this I hope those two return (but with the original costume for Bane and no Venom). Wish Catwoman, Lady Shiva, and Mr. Freeze had been in this as well. It would've been so much harder......

I hope they make a second Batman game. Not necessarily in Arkham again, I guess that wouldn't make sense, but a second game HAS to happen. Where's Two Face? Mad Hatter? Amygdala? Humpty Dumpty? Penguin? Mr. Freeze? The Terrible Trio?

If they make two more games, each one improving, it would really be one of the greatest game series ever.
