That's more on Nolan and Goyer as they are the ones that wrote the script. Snyder basically just told everyone what to do in front of the camera.

Bryan Cranston is Lex Luther in Man of Steel 2 and on top of this Cosmic Book News is reporting that since Ben Affeck is signed on as Batman that Warner Bros. is also very interested in possibly bringing on Matt Damon as Aquaman or..............Martian Manhunter.!!!

Honestly THAT NEWS .....PISSES ME OFF,not like the affleck news either,I'm taking a heath ledger/michael keaton wait n see approach with Ben.But I've want end Bryan to play James Gordon Sr.(captain, lieutenant, commissioner, etc) Ever since I heard his performance as Gordon in the year one animated feature.I was just hoping that when Nolan trilogy was over I'd get to see Cranston as Gordon, not like they're getting gary oldman again,i'd still prefer to see cranston, over oldman,he just had a great voice for yr.1,and he can act like a badass(more scenes likebthe basball bat scene in year one woulld be awesome)He even kinda Looks like him, grow some hair(maybe if not naturally) dye it red,and let him act,he can act....*breaking bad*.Now it's Cranston as Luther, and we'll probably get a Gordon that matters as much the 89 Gordon did.....not much. I'm pissed, had to vent about it.Rant.End
Just thought of something, maybe we can get*gasp* a robin not played by an adult?! Madness I say,madness.....wait a minute, they say this batman is already experienced? Maybe we can get night wing to show up in a solo batman film.... THAT....just THAT.THAT POSSIBILITY may be the ONLY thing I may gee excited about, but then I think on how'd they fuck up his suit/personality. Then I get sad again, Still BRYAN CRANSTON SHOULD BE GORDON,in my honest opinion,he should,he would do an awesome job as LEX,this is true,BUT....BUT,I think he'd do a Better job as Gordon, going from villain to hero,he'd probably do really, really good,I hope they(WB DC) know what they're doing, but I still need to wait for the movie's trailers and production pics/on set pics b4 I have too strong an opinion.

This isn't necessarily directed at you, but I've seen this sentiment a lot around the web since the films release, and for the last 20 years all I've heard from people is Superman needs to stop being such a boy scout and be put in compromising situations and Snyder does just that and now people want to bitch about property damage and the death of an intergalactic sociopath

I think that's more of a complaint from comic fans or people that are more exposed to Superman on more regular basis. People that are casual fans probably expect more boy scout type things. If Ben is capable of going as far as Ledger, to emotionally and psychologically change himself for the sake of the roll, I think he can pull it off. He would have to see the current evil in this world in it's entirety. It has to be made personal so their is no escape. There has to be a need for vengeance. The need to strike fear in the hearts of the powerful, and to become the darkness that is the night.
The one thing I will say about Keaton is at times you could feel him brood. While Bale pulled that off to some degree, sometimes when the cape and cowl was off he just stopped feeling like Batman. I like the idea of Batman using Bruce as a mask, because what he ultimately became was the personality of The Batman. When someone actually pulls that off it is so fun to debate whether Batman is the alter ego or the other way around.
But Ben's voice, despite everything Clooney did wrong his voice actually wasn't bad (the acting though, Jesus). So on top of shattering his own world he now needs to chain smoke, learn make his voice sound gravelly, like a low patient snarl (Not Bale's attempt at making a Cannibal Corpse album) and all the brooding you could wish for.
This movie is fucked.

I think its funny people think this movie is "fucked." Here's the thing: aside from Christian Bale, the majority of the actors who have portrayed Batman in the past should have NEVER been considered for the part based on their previous work. A lot of you guys aren't old enough to remember back when Michael Keaton was cast, but there was a similar reaction: "Really? Mr. Mom/Beetlejuice is gonna play Batman?" There was a petition to get rid of Keaton and everything. Think about this for a second, take away the stigma that he's Ben Affleck and you have an actor that's tall, handsome, charismatic and square jawed. Sounds like Bruce Wayne to me.
http://imageshack.us/a/img838/5886/gjn3.jpg fan art of Affleck. His jawline resembles the "Arkham" Batman.
It was a joke. I'm reserving judgment for the finished product. I didn't see The Dark Knight in theaters because they cast Ledger as The Joker. And now I feel like an idiot. When I was saying this movie is screwed based on Affleck's voice alone I didn't think anyone would actually take me serious. I'm a little on the fence, but I've been surprised before.
I've learned not to hype myself up for these things so my expectations do not leave me disappointed. I think that is why I enjoyed Man of Steel. It's not the Superman movie I wanted, but it turned out a lot better then I was actually expecting.

To me It looks Photoshopped and I can't see this happening because there was rumor about three or four years ago saying that he was going to play Robin so I'm calling bullshit on this one and saying it's a prank by that little dipshit.

... Death to Zack Snyder.
The Bieber thing is a Funny or Die hoax. Looky here
I will give Biebs some credit though, he'd have been perfect for one particular classic Batman scene. I'd be prying the doors of the theatre open to watch the Biebs perform this scene.

Ben Affleck's Batman Costume Gets An 'Excellent' Review From Matt Damon
Big fat non-news, but this Kevin Smith quote caught my eye:
"Now, I don't want to give anything away because that is up to them and stuff, but I am going to say this: I instantly bear-hugged [Snyder]," Smith said. "You have not seen this costume in a movie on film before. And for a comic-book fan, it was mind-bending."
That seems to be more in line with assumptions for something like DKR's armored suit, or the gear from Kingdom Come, but... I can't help but wonder if there's any hope there's a grey and black suit under it.

I think this is completely overblown. If people are so against this choice, don't see the movie.

There is a whole world out there that I don't even know. Petitions lol. I don't think Ben Affleck is gonna be relieved of the Batman role, so I think it's best to give him the benefit of the doubt, not much else u can do.

I can't picture Joseph-Gordon Levitt as batman. He's smaller than Affleck. Robin or Nightwing, sure but not Batman.
My thought has been that if they want to reboot Batman, just set the movie 40-50 years in the future and do a Batman Beyond trilogy. They could hire on the guys that did Tron legacy and give it the same look. They could cast a new & younger batman, use more of the unrealistic villains because of advances in technology (they would seem more practical like Mr. Freeze). They could even use JGL as an aged Knightwing in the same role as Wayne was in the Batman Beyond series.

- Will Anne Hathaway Catsuit Up For 'Batman Vs. Superman'?
Hathaway being slightly coy about whether or not she'll suit up as Catwoman in Versus, or her own film. Gotta think either is pretty unlikely...
