I don't know, this seems to be a bit of a stetch. How do we know that "La... La La... Lede La" is even from Hey Jude? I always assumed the chorus in that song was "Na... Na Na..." anyway. EDIT: Testyourmight said the lyric was from Hey Jude. I didn't know Le De Da was a Ringo Starr song. I can definitely say it's a hint now. Especially the way he tried to hide it with the various "La... La La..."'s before and after. It's a very vague hint, and I'm honestly surprised anyone caught it, because I sure wouldn't have.

I suppose that is a given, unfortunately.

Boon may mislead, be overly vague, or even play around with dual meanings, but he's never tweeted a hint that's purely arbitrary in nature. The fact that he previously hinted Blue Beetle further seals the deal if you ask me.

I remember awhile back Ed Boon tweeting a picture of Swamp Thing, Animal Man and Batwing comics saying that "It's time to reveal a new character for Injustice" and then a week later he tweeted a picture of an Animal Man toy on a Flash comic then the next day Deathstroke got confirmed lol

Hopefully your right and Blue Beetle is confirmed because that would be pretty cool and then after he gets confirmed, maybe I'll get lucky and Grodd will get confirmed lol

This is an interesting point. If there are indeed only 24 slots in the game at start, then that entails that at least one of Boon's hints was false. Either that, or the character will be DLC, but what a sick joke it would be to hint a character that's no where to be seen on the release date.

My only theory is this: those hints may not have been hints at all but attempts to fish for fan reactions to see what characters were popular. If that's the case, Swamp thing is a lock. I almost fear that in the assumption that Martian Manhunter was a given, MM fans may not have rallied heavy enough behind their character. That's probably not true, but it's food for thought.

The fan response for Beetle wasn't that huge, so if Beetles in, that theory is out the window.

I 100% agree with your theory, you have to keep the fans biting onto your bate and misleading them because you can't just tell them the whole roster upfront but you can always throw then a sinker when they think you're throwing a fastball, you know?

I'd bet you that Blue Beetle, Swamp Thing, Lobo and Martian Manhunter are going to be playable in the game and not just cameos.

I've been thinking the last couple of days and I realize that Grodd hasn't been hinted at on twitter, websites or even a magazine so maybe he wouldn't make it into Injustice but I'm gonna keep the dream alive lol

Blue Beetle is one of the DC heroes I know little to nothing about, however, he does look cool. But what can he do? What are his powers? Is he a new generation hero or is he an old hero?

The Ringo Starr song makes sense, but I'm thinking it could also be a hint at Sinestro for "RING"o or maybe even Starfire for Starr.

I'm guessing if Blue Beetle makes it, he'll more likely be DLC than on the main roster. Anything is possible though. None of us are certain of just how many people will be in the game, so who knows...

I don't think he'd tease for a DLC character, so the Beetle may actually make it. However, I wonder if this game will launch with tons of DLC.

Jaime Reyes. He's one of the few DC superheroes from my home state (Texas), which I feel is kinda tight. But as long as they use the Scarab rendition (and I can't imagine they wouldn't), it's all good. If we get the ex-cop Blue Beetle from the 1940s, I guess I wouldn't complain though, lol.

I never read comics unfortunately, so I'm using design and concept as my main reference for character choice. To be honest, Blue Beetle isn't even a lock for my main. I'm going to approach this game much more flexibly than I did MK9. I'll pick my top 3 favorites characters and main the one who meshes with my playing style best.. I just really want him in the game for aesthetic purposes.
