Well I hope it's either him, or Killer Frost.

Really hoping against Mr. Freeze... not because I dislike him (I don't) .. but because I don't want this to be dominated by Batman characters. They're cool and all..but it's not a Batman fighting game. I'd like to see characters that haven't gotten the chance to be in any fighting games yet (Black Canary, Firestorm, Martian Manhunter etc etc..).


So Captain Cold or Killer Frost for the win.

What they SHOULD DO, is put Mr. Freeze in the Arkham Asylum as a cameo/background interaction, leaving it Captain Cold with the ice abilities. This will also leave enough Bat-Kharacters for the ones that actually deserve it: Poison Ivy, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, Catwoman, and the Joker.

It should be Mr Freeze. He is just better than those mentioned. It wont bother me if this turns into 75% batman, afterall, I have wished it was an Arkham Fighter.

Even though I prefer mr freeze as a character, I really want it to be captain cold cause I dont want the batman franchise dominating the roster. We already have batman, joker (seen background screen), nightwing (boon indirectly confirmed him on twitter) and catwomen is a given.

Well he was fighting the flash in the trailer so Im guessing its captain cold.

I hope it is Mr Freeze. I thought about the trailer part where the flash is attacked by ice , but then again, WW is seen handeling Quinn.

Please let it be Captain Cold. God knows we need more Batman villains...

We do need more Batman villains. No one cares about Flash's z-list rogues gallery.

I get that people don't want the game to be dominated by Batman characters but in all seriousness in recent years Batman foes operate in such a way that they could be league foes.

Killer Frost is acceptable but do enough people know her? Or like Firestorm?

I agree with the mindset that it would be nice to give characters a shot that haven't been as exposed as much in games...but Batman just has the best rogues gallery, and overall the most well known and popular DC characters as a whole. So it shouldn't really be frowned upon or surprising that at least 1/3 of the characters coming from the Batman franchise.

Say we get 30 characters overall...expect to see these characters at least:
Batman
Harley
Solomon Grundy
Joker
Nightwing
Catwoman
Robin
3 more villains... (so many still to choose from)

Now, try and name 5 characters from Superman's, Flash's, Green Lantern's, or Wonder Woman's franchises that people would actually know(beyond hardcore comic fans), care about, or fit in this game. Its just the way it is. Batman and X-men just have the most well known and popular characters in their respective franchises under their brand. That's why you see them featured most in mashup games.

The reason people DON'T know other rogues galleries is because Batman is the ONLY one they shove down our throats. What all the Bat supporters are saying is NEVER work with ANY other characters outside the Batverse because "thats what people know". Well people need to learn in order to make DC a better franchise. Maybe then we can get more movies out other than Bats and Sups.

Drop Robin and Nightwing for Mr Freeze, Ras Alghul, Two Face or the penguin. You know, Villians > Heroes.

That's what makes this specific game a playground for Poison Ivy with the background being all interactive; same for Aquaman if they utilize his powers correctly. Also, she could have a good story with either Catwoman, Harley Quinn (try 2 turn her against Joker), Zatanna, and or Swamp Thing.

Fighting her in Batman Arkham Asylum and as Catwoman in Batman Arkham City was really kewl and 1 of the BEST moments of each game, but there's so much more she can do and I think the NRS is the perfect team to do it; but with the good guys and bad guys bodies/minds being switched, anyone could do MORE with her fighting-wise, so there's reason for her to be included even more; she's kinda like DC Universe's Sindel-acting character, yet she's got a more unique ability that's never been touched in a fighting game, well I don't count Amingo in MvC2.

Plus her whole seductive act and using vine swings/polls/hammocks would go great with her character as well. I also can't wait to hear her evil echoing voice!!!

I was actually hoping that she would have taken over the Living Forest in MKvsDCU giving her a wild stage story.

So only 3 female fighters, in a NRS game?......Not going to happen. Also way too many Batman villains and Bat family characters.

Mr.Freeze is HIGHLY OVERRATED even in the Batverse. This game only needs Ra's Al Ghul and Bane as Batvillians. And Harley Quinn as the only "guilty pleasure". No more Joker, Catwoman, Two Face, Scarecrow and people like this. Maybe Poison Ivy, but first I want Swamp Thing.

Am i one of the few who would like to see static shock in the game. NRS did a pretty good job with raiden i can kinda see someone like static work in a similar fashion. i mean he his a bit known but i feel that hes unknown enough that he warrants a spot in the game

Dwayne McDuffie MUST be represented somehow. Static Shock would be an excellent addition if handled correctly.

I'd like to see what Captain Cold can do; both him and Gorilla Grodd would make to unique, different villains to play as.

Also, it is a way to have an ice-wielder and and still room for Poison Ivy, Joker, Scarecrow, and Catwoman.
