The more I hear Gorilla Grodd the more I agree. In Justice League Unlimited he was SO classically evil I loved it!
Poison Ivy would add a NEW element where as we have ALREADY had Catwoman. Cheetah is on my wish list. Captain Cold I think is just underrated in his coolness factor. I loved him on the SuperFriends from the 70's80's.
Metallo or Amazo would be cool too. Amazo could be like Shang Tsung stealing powers etc.
Star Sapphire might be cool as well

Yeah now that I've given it some thought I want Gorilla Grodd in. He was definitely one of the big bads of Justice League and JLU.
Star Sapphire would be an interesting addition as well but I'd worry about her playing to similarly to Green Lantern.

I agree but what makes me laugh is that nobody will ever be "concerned" that Batman and Nightwing would be so similar. Hee hee

Well, Arkham City kinda gave Nightwing a different feel, wish they'd had him in the story mode though. I would prefer Poison Ivy and Scarecrow over Nightwing or Robin, they're both pretty unique and after Ivy could do all kinds of new things never done in any fighting game. Scarecrow would actually fit with MANY non-Batman character's storylines, like with Mirror Master and even worked with Atrocitus before.
Gorilla Grodd would make the perfect DLC pack along with Killer Croc: a rather unique brute pack, both with unique abilities, Croc could utilize water-based backgrounds to move his slow big butt pretty quickly, giving Aquaman/Black Manta a run for their money; also Grodd utilizing telekinesis/telepathy could go very far with a large/slower character; what I call the DC style Godzilla vs. King Kong fight!!! I've NEVER been a fan of brute style characters but these 2 could definitely change my perspective!
I would definitely agree that Gorilla Grodd deserves 1 of the 10 villain spots but won't be upset if he doesn't make the cut.

I'm so sick of Freeze. "Ohh, my wiiiiife...why won't you just let me cure her, Batman? Wahhhhhhh..." Always the same shit every time he shows up.
Captain Cold is just plain a better character in the personality and motivation department. Dude's a professional, he takes crime seriously and plans and organizes and has rules and shit.
His gun is better too, it can reach absolute zero and it has an aura function that makes it cold everywhere around his body that slows the Flash down and makes it possible to see/hit him despite his broken-as-hell level of superspeed.

Agreed, Captain Cold DESERVES that spot.
Now, I'm realizing how many of the better DC villains come from the Flash stories: Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd, Mirror Master, and Weather Wizard. I would love to see all 4 even though I'd doubt they would give us that many, maybe they could have Mirror Master/Weather Wizard as a DLC Flash Villain Pack given that I only see them giving us Captain Cold/Flash/Gorilla Grodd from the start, I'd buy them.

Oracle, you've got the best avatar lol, I've wanted to say that for some time now. Yeah Captain Boomerang would be pretty kewl too, forgot about that one.

Also, Scarecrow is an overall DC villain too, so seeing either wouldn't really be considered a Bat-Villain, and taking Poison Ivy's spot, yet Ivy's also had tie-ins with Zatanna, Swamp Thing, and also part of the Injustice League!

I agree but ultimately for me I think Grundy is the most "been around the block" villain. He's been the insane Hulk type, he's been the confused misunderstood villain that the heros don't really want to hurt, he's almost been an anti hero. He was portrayed so excellently in Justice League Unlimited.
Poison Ivy I would choose over Catwoman simply because she's been done.
I'd choose Captain Cold over Mr Freeze because Bats is oversaturated in media already.
If they CONSTANTLY shove money in Batman and never explore any other characters they are going to keep people from knowing some really great characters in the DC Universe. The Question I had no idea about until JLU and he became a character I really liked.
Amanda Waller would be cool too. I want the bigger version not the skinny NEW version!!

Isn't The Question a Batman character though? Like at least before the New 52 the female lesbian Question was a character that came from BtAS.

Renee Montoya's creation was from B:TAS, but in my book, since then she hasn't been a "Bat-Character". More of a Gotham character, that isn't exclusive to Gotham.

Mr Freeze has a great origin story that only came about because of the animated series btw, but he has only had one or two good comics after that. Captain Cold on the other hand as been consistently good/great in the comics. and has always been a threat to the most overpowered superhero in the DC universe. His Cold Gun has more abilities then the Freeze Gun including being able to go to absolute zero and creating a cold field that slows anyone down including the flash. Mr Freeze can freeze people and that's it. Captain Cold is also the leader of a super villain team that looks out for each other instead of constantly stabbing each other in the back which is more then I can say for most if not all super villain teams. Check out The Flash v2182 and see for yourself what a great character he is. I also suggest checking out all of Geoff Johns Flash Run. He did some amazing work with all the Rouges.

And that right there shows you know nothing about comics.
Besides Batman and Spider-Man the Flash has the best villains in all of comics.

To have someone shooting ice at Flash in the games reveal trailer and not have it be Cold would just be the worst kind of troll there is. Has Mr. Freeze even shown up in New 52? Based on the designs, its a safe bet that's the pool DC is going to allow them to pull from.
It should also be noted that Captain Cold is in the Lego Batman 2 villain DLC pack not Freeze. Actually that game is probably a good place to look for soft confirms.
Devs don't get to just pick whoever they want when they make licensed games, the owner holds final call, and if they want somebody in to push a book / movie / tv show, that who they have to use.

Yeah, he was just in an annual this past month.
It retconned his wife into being a complete stranger who had been put in cryo-storage before he even met her, that he had convinced himself he had fallen in love with because of his obsession with ice. So that he could be as crazy as everyone else in Arkham, I guess?
Also, his current character design leaves his bare arms sticking exposed out of the suit and he has a tuft of white hair left sticking out of the top of his head like some kind of British punker.
So...yeah, nu52 Freeze kinda sucks.

Stop. Flash objectively may have a decent rogues gallery but out of Marvel AND DC he is hardly 3rd. oracle Wrote:
