Let me start by saying that i made a thread with this being the subject,but i was trying to make some direct comparisons in their roles to mk(2011) kharacters like Batman being the Raiden,and Supes the Liu of the game(i don't know why...maybe the regime trailer hadn't released yet?can't remember).

But this time i'll try to just think of this as a game story without any mk comparisons,so we'll probably play as both sides,both before and after the regime has taken control.I wouldn't be surprised to see characters switch sides from both "teams".Who will be big in the story?Rather expectedly(Batman,Superman,Wonder-Woman,Flash) or unexpectedly (Raven,Nighwing,Doomsday,Hawkgirl).Who do you think,dread to think,or even hope falls under the radar for most of the story?. And what type of role do you wish your favorite character lands?

I just hope all the characters seem relevant in this game.. My favorite on the roster is Bane and I hope they give him his moments.

This. It sucked to see a lot of good characters get relegated to support roles in mortal ko bat(that's being generous). The scope of this story makes it seem like it'll be more of an all inclusive affair. Let's hope so.

I noticed in the mobile game trailer it shows off costumes and states "Regime" or "Insurgency" alternate costumes.

So from what the trailer showed apparently these characters are on these sides..? Maybe?

Regime:
Superman
Wonder Woman
Black Adam
Doomsday
Bane
Catwoman
Sinestro
The Flash
Green Lantern
Solomon Grundy

Insurgency:
Batman
The Joker
Lex Luthor
Deathstroke
Green Arrow

I find some of these positions interesting. If this is right than who do you think the remaining characters will side with??

I'm sure we'll see more than a few characters switched sides during story mode. Aquaman is one we know for certain based off of his trailer. Also with alternate Earths coming into play who knows WHICH versions of the characters will be on which sides.

I just can't get psyched for this game's story mode. I couldn't tell you why either. Who knows, maybe I'll enjoy it more because of that.

In the Line trailer, you know how Green Arrow is fighting Nightwing?Well the thing is, its not really Nightwing. Its Damien Wayne. Dick Grayson is still on Batmans side thank god :)

I've seen Story Mode. Someone with a leaked copy streamed it last night.

I won't spoil anything...but I will tell you, a few characters do unfortunately have Baraka/Reptile/Sheeva-level jobber roles.

Eh...apples and oranges kinda since the whole problem with 9 was that it was a giant continuity retcon whereas it's not like this is erasing decades of DC history somehow.

But I did rather like it.

I knew that would happen. That pretty much confirms that Grundy is just a grunt. I mean really, what would Grundy's stake in the story even be?

I'd just like to know why Catwoman's on the Regime side, likewise with Nightwing. By the sounds of it, there's very few in the Insurgency.

Hmmm....I can see where he's coming from. Interesting! Does she have much of a role in the story or is she a punch bag character?

Naw, Catwoman's one of the game's Reptiles. I think you literally only fight her twice in the whole thing.

He doesn't show up much either, but his role is pretty much the same as Quan Chi's was in MK vs DCU (except you get to fight him). Nobody trusts him because he's a bad guy, but he offers the insurgents useful info a couple times because the regime putting an end to conflict has weakened him so he wants to see it end.
