Blue Beetle has to win. Shazam isn't getting the job done at all. I guess I wouldn't feel so bad going back to Aquaman now that we know how good Black Adam, Deathstroke, and Nightwing are (and Doomsday; we have a KILLER Doomsday in San Antonio).

I think this is just Ed's way of trolling all the hate about the original poll and so far meaning crap with regards to the dlc announced so far. This poll is unofficial, mean it doesn't mean they don't have to listen to the community.

I'd like to see it and that New 52 Supergirl (no matter how much I dislike that design) as alts since they went through the trouble of modeling it.

I voted PowerGirL. And only becuz I really really hope she'll come with a SuperGirL alt costume.

To be honest, I think Blue Beetle could just be an alt skin for Cyborg. They could make that skin silent like the MK DLC. His hands teknoform into weapons, just like Cyborg. He wouldnt have any "flight" special moves, but hey, neither does WW or GL in the game. Even that "white noise" move from Cyborg looks like Blue Beetle's blast rays in the Young Justice cartoon.

Does this mean we'll have a "Season2 DLC" ??

That's all they have in common. With that logic, Lobo ought to be a skin for Deathstroke. IMO, Jaime's fighting style would be much more akin to Carnage/Venom's (but especially Carnage's) symbiote than Cyborg's gadgets anyway. I really want Powergirl too, but her and Supes literally have the same powers. Why not make her a skin?

And as observed in the above post, you can't count out flying. Even if he wouldn't be able to literally fly in combat, the ability itself would still factor into his offense/defense. That wouldn't translate into Cyborg.


I agree: they messed up with the flying characters, but Beetle shouldn't have to suffer for that. I just don't think we should justify a defect with the existence of another defect.

Apparently this guy has been tweeting Boon for the past two days, asking for MMH. Boon replied to him twice, saying for the second how he knows MMH would win the poll. He then tweeted the guy again a link to a YouTube video "Guns N' Roses: Patience w/ lyrics".
