He did the same thing to a Lobo fan before he was confirmed so my guess is that we're getting Lobo, Batgirl, Zod and then Martian Manhunter.

I'm think we're getting four more characters after them because look at the select screen after getting Lobo hopefully the second season pass is Power Girl, Gorilla Grodd, Black Canary and Scorpion

I just laugh at the rage of him not being in the game. It makes me want to pick Watchtower often so people can see him in the background and remember he isn't playable. People who complain about it make it seem like the game is 0/10 because he isn't on the season pass as of yet.

I may as well main Scorpion (if he is on the pass) and only play Watchtower for that constant reminder that a guest made it in over MM.

I can agree with that. The fact that swamp thing is absent from the game has not hampered my enjoyment of the game at all. If i got bent out of shape for every character that didnt make a fighting game, i'd have given up on mk long ago.

That said, i understand the rage to an extent. However its still an excellent game.

Where are Black Canary, Grifter, Circe and Black Manta? That said, we already have Superman and Zod so I really hope that Power Girl loses. I'm currently torn between Blue Beetle and Swamp Thing.

I really would more or less be happy with whoever's in the game. I mean yeah, I'd be MORE content with certain ones, but anyone otherwise would not hamper my enjoyment. Hell they could make Isis the cat fully playable for all I care ('though if they go that route, I'd hope they'd give us Dex-Starr instead for obvious reasons). I only really went for Swamp Thing because I was obsessed with the movies and cartoon as a kid.

Would much rather have Starfire than Zatanna or Powergirl, but Zatanna's a decent choice otherwise. They just have to do her justice. Don't make her boring. Play off of her showgirl-magician theme, rather than make her a generic video game sorcerer.

Why do people think either of them are even a real option.

I never got how Ares beat out Circe, well I mean I know why story-wise now, but still.

Fighting games tend to favor dude characters and Ares's roll in the story is pretty cool if minimal. If Circe was around I doubt she would've sided with the Regime and they wouldn't have stood a chance against her magic.

I think she was excluded for story purposes.

I'll believe Ed Boon once stuff is officially revealed & released. So far the leaked dlc characters have been 50% correct and unless the MK team decides to release further dlc, then we're outta luck on better characters. Lobo was the only one that interested me enough to buy. Batgirl looks fun but im still not sure I want to purchase her and as far as Zod and Scorpion go: Zod is far too boring and generic for me and looks to be a push due to the new Superman movie. There are far better villains from Superman that can be in the game, Darkseid, Braniac, Metallo, Parasite, Mongul & Bizarro would be infinitely better imo.

Scorpion is a lame push by Ed Boon's undying & fanatical love of the character, which is a terribly wasted slot for better DC characters. Are there enough fans out there pushing for MK characters/guest/joke characters? I'm going to go ahead and assume that the answer is mostly no.


As far as more DC characters in general, there are easily upwards of 15+ options to choose from and most would be a sure hit for fans. Many users, gamers & comic fans have reiterated countless times, the characters would technically "need" to be in the game.

My hopes mostly go to:
-Dark Seid
-Zatanna
-Etrigan
-Black Manta
-Circe

If they can make Batgirl that epicly awesome (I actually think she looks more fun to play as than Batman.......) they can make Zatanna 10x Better. She is a magician that can do anything. NRS are super creative so she would be awesome. The only thing im worried about is her face :(.

Oh another thing. I think they are doing a second season pass. Why?:

Martian Manhunter - Someone asked if he's DLC and Boon replied with the Guns and Roses song, Patience.

Black Canary - Shes the only cameo that actually has a different costume to any others. Shes in the Story mode and in Green Arrows moveset. Shes also in the iOS game. She has the Dinah Drake mask which is weird considering shes Dinah Laurel Lance. I just think if they went through that trouble to give her the best female face in the game and a new costume, she might be DLC.

I think that these two would be finished or being worked on (If they are DLC) and they will do the Top 2 with the most votes in the poll. My guess is Zatanna, Red Hood or Swamp Thing

He also once said that Lobo wasn't in the game. His words and hints and anything else can't be trusted. You just have to wait and see.

He said "Nobo" then the next tweet someone asked Why not? and he said he was joking. He has been tweeting about Martian Manhunter a lot lately. He did the same with Bane a few weeks before he was revealed. Im not sure. If Black Canary isn't in, that would be a major tease considering she has a render, new costume, best female face, etc.

I've always had this feeling that the four in the Season Pass were not ALL of the DLC. Id day the Season Pass characters are already finished and now they will prob make one to four more. I'm thinking Batgirl will go right above Lobo on the Character screen and then Zod and Scorpion across from them. With that being the case, there is still enough room to the right of Batman and Superman and left of Joker and Lex to fit another character. Now I dont see any more than 8 characters being available for DLC, they would have to do an overhaul of the menu if that was the case
