So? It's Green Lantern's first appearance. I think it'd be cool of the golden age Green Lantern was a costume. Same with the Jay Garrick Flash. It's fun to imagine Flash's super move with that as an alternate skin.

just saying the hardcore gl fans will demand it be hal. i would know im a gl fan but more of a john stewart guy and guy gardner fan

Hard to say what I want as DLC since I don't know whats going to be in the game :(

Well there will NOT be any movie-based DLC costumes, it's been confirmed via twitter sometime last month, since there's too many legality problems.

IMO I would definitely expect New 52 costumes per character, yet no actual guarantee they will all have one.

I'd really like to see some Bat-related DLC characters released from Arkham Asylum Stage, where they taunt us originally or maybe even be part of a background interaction; then released as actual playable characters and replaced with some related prop for a different interaction once purchased. With that concept, I do agree that we're pretty full of Bat-characters UNTIL DLC. Also, when you purchase them it would be kewl for some scene/movie to appear as they are released and re-watchable; would be kinda EPIC!

Seriously? Legal problems for a company who owns the movies and what not? That's kinda bullshit.

I totally agree, I liked the Dark Knight's Joker, but guess we won't be getting any of those.

Hector said in an interview that a huge factor in choosing characters for the roster was whether or not they fit in well with the storyline. So as for full characters, I would like to see the team use this opportunity to release downloadable characters that don't necessarily fit into the storyline but would make very cool fighters. I'm thinking maybe some of the characters from Watchmen. Swamp Thing would be awesome.

I really don't understand why they can't do that. The game is owned by Warner Bros. Games. A branch of the company that owns the movie rights.

This is my first time posting in/on this Injustice forum. Im not sure of who ( the characters ) that have been announced, so for a couple DLC that i would like to see ( if they won't be in the game ) are....

I'd totally main Blazin' Bad Zula even though Katrina Highkick seems like a guaranteed S+ tier character.

Although Nubia would make an excellent DLC character. EXCELLENT.

If movie costumes actually were given the kibosh because of "legal reasons," the only thing that springs to mind would be the issue of likeness rights (ie; Heath Ledger's Joker). If that were the only issue they could still probably squeeze out a more literal alternate costume based on something like The Dark Knight, but then you've got the headache of people not understanding why it doesn't look like Heath Ledger -- assuming WB will even clear something like that.

The issue of clearing movie-based designs with WB -- who obviously have used Heath Ledger's likeness in a range of licensed products -- might be the more likely headache, if there actually is one.

Being "bored with comic styles in everything" is probably a bit of a laugh, though. These things are almost always geared toward cross-media audiences; cartoons, if not movies. NRS are already playing fast and loose with the classic designs. Any uninterrupted reference to the source material is always gonna be a nice change of pace for enlightened, overlapping fans. DLC shouldn't be too tough a compromise for the average gamer.

I'd like to see Larfleeze as part of a Lantern DLC pack. He's probably not desired enough to get a spot as a stand alone DLC charcter, but bundle him in with a few other Lantern baddies please!
