Wow for some reason, this genuinely pissed me off. so obnoxious.

parents should monitor what their kids do, but let them do what they want as long as they are not getting in trouble, hurting other people or themselves, doing anything illegal or any other shenanigans.

if you see any signs that the kids are going to go on shootings and shit, not only should you take the game away, take everything away and lock them up.

i am never having children and/or marrying some hardcore obnoxious lady who will make my kids life unenjoyable

As obnoxious and stiff as that video was, at least they are talking about what's going on in the media the kid is taking in. I think a lot more parents should be more involved in what their kids are involved in, rather than glancing at something and taking it away outright. Find out why your kid is interested in it, and what they want to get out of it. Talk about the ideas and messages (or lack therof) the product puts forth and come to a decision together about if it's a worthwhile product. A lot of parents can't be bothered though. They only rely on ratings given my a stranger and/or hearsay without having any real knowledge of what the product is.

i watched that mom video and the bo 2 video and have to say this. you seem to care about your kids and your ratings are fair, at least for bo2. now my only problem with what you said about injustice is this. men beating women. and visa versa. my own mother wants the opposite. the world of media is dominated by men. she wants more females to play as. and i think injustice should get good points for it not the old ooh that man hit the women gasp. what they didnt say is that women was about to throw a car at him lol. NEWS FLASH its a fightin game. after all its not called dc injustice tea party among us.

I've never understood why some parents place such a hard hand on violent video games, as if they're such a detriment.

Can't they just teach their children the difference between reality and fiction, and to not emulate what they see? That would be the responsible thing to do, to me at least.

Ah, yes. It makes sense now, one of ....those kids. The ones that actually had a set bed time, a number of hours for television, actually wore kneepads and a helmet when riding a bike, wasn't allowed to have a BB gun, or eat sweats before dinner. Man, I always pitied those kids.
