Injustice: Modes that you want

posted08/13/2012 02:03 PM (UTC)byjbthrashI keep seeing threads about specific modes such as tag and kombo challenge. So I just wanted to know what extra modes everybody wants. This doesn't mean arcade, online, or versus. (That goes without saying).
1. 2v2-4v4 endurance battle with 4-8 players. Similar to MKT for N64. I'm a big advocate of this and I hope it is included online and offline.
2. Challenge Tower: Hopefully 90 percent of the challenges will let you pick your own character.
3.The Crypt with goodies including new costumes, characters, and stages. Plus a money system.
4. Replay channel similar to SSF4.

I'd be interested in this, but obviously they'll have to find a different way to implement it....like maybe the various locations are super-hero bases instead of switching from a graveyard to a mass of trees with bodies hanging from them. I think this helps add a lot of replay value.
Overall, I am very curious to see if they implement a Crypt or Challenge Tower mode at all, considering how much they want to keep this game from being compared to MK.

1. Challenge Tower
2. Character trials
3. Heroes and Heralds style mode using non playable DC characters to add abilities to your fighters
4. Krypt style unlock mode that is less of a pain in the ass than MK9
5. Custom Character Creator ( re-skin existing characters ala Soul Calibur )

1. Endurance Modes which you have to beat EVERY character in the game including bosses to gain some rediculous hard achievement!
2. Character Trials (separate from Challenge Tower)
3. Tag-Team Battle but if you call your partner out directly in front of a background interaction, the partner automatically does the interaction entering the stage
4. Scramble Battle
5. 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, and borrow as well 8 player elimination
6. Offline/Online Adventure Mode (up to 4 players: basically a DC version of a mixture of MK Shaolin Monks and MKD's Konquest; DLC can add to it. (can't leave a specific parimeter without your online help) The more the players, the more you can accomplish in one game, game is savable but the other people involved MUST save it as well and be online to resume game. Let there be achievements/unlockables that drawl people into playing 4 player adventure that way it stays alive for a much longer time (I'm sure it will be tricky to do but somehow can be possible)
7. Racing mini-game - would go well with symbols to collect to harm your opponents (similar to MK's)
8. Gallery - Endings, videos, pictures, credits, unlockable comic books, titles/icons, everything you earn, etc.
9. Challenge Tower
10. In-game card game similar to Magic or Marvel Recharge etc.

I'm onboard for everything except the racing, the adventure game, and the card battle game. Something very similar to this happended and it was called MKA.
A lot of people believed the fighting mechancis suffered, because they were too focused on creating sub par mini games. I have nothing against mini games, but I think they should be related to the fighting engine in some way. This is why I liked test your luck, and some of the goofier challenges of the the challenge tower.
Now if NRS focused on a 4 player co-op adventure game with DC characters, I would be down for that.
-Tag Team Mode.
-Better Krypt like mode. Should be filled like MKDA/D not the MK9's things.
-Challeng tower like mode.
-Better online coding and I ain't taking Ed's word for it. As long as it uses gamespy, it's gonna be shitty.
For Story Mode:
I hope it ain't seperated into a characters based chapters.

A mini-game style board-game, not Chess Kombat, but a Mario-Party kinda thing.
The return of the Challenge Tower.
A 3+ player free-for-all.
A shooter!
