My initial impressions of him is he's not that great. He's not terrible, but he just isn't that good. His range isn't great and his bounces and most moves seem to have a noticeable delay/wind-up to them.

I find he plays a lot like Catwoman from MKvsDCU in comparison to her Whip. He has the same low attack grapple chain as she did. And his spear/chain grab is similar to scorpions spear only it's doesn't full screen. I to feel some of his specials could be a little bit longer range. But his speed really makes up for that as his evasive roll in dash is really good similar to Stryker's MK9 roll. And will help heaps against high projectile spam.

Lobo will be good against DS spam rest assured. His dash in roll is just so fast. And will definitely piss off a lot of DS spammers.

Yeah I agree about the roll. I thought it seemed pretty fast. I think the range could be a little better on it though. Maybe there is more of a benefit to it that I just haven't noticed yet. Given this is just my initial impressions from playing around with him for about 15 mins. in practice mode.

Well, I can officially say, Lobo defiantly will struggle against the fast cast. While his speed is relatively quick. His keep away game isn't the best and his rush down is slightly moderate. He's more of a spacing and foul up character then keep away / rush down. I find he struggles against jumpers and speedy characters. Granted I came online just to throw a few games and see where he matched up. His footsie game isn't great either. Unless you're doing down, forward, 1, down. Low pump shot. That has some good range and is a low.

He does have a decent 50/50 up close, where you can either Hit High Pump Shot, Mid Pump Shot, or Low Pump Shot. One of his stronger more suitable setups. For some odd reason, Space Dolphins seems to be a good clutch move to. Disemboweled starts low and is good, if you can keep your opponent guessing and out of the air.

And while he does have some good specials, they will be hard to put to use if your opponent is antsy and likes to bait/jump a lot. However, his down, back, 1 is useful to an extent. But don't rely on it to much vs, Sups and Hawkgirl. I will say his Back, Forward, 3 is nice and does help stop some of the jumping. But timing on it has to be precise. Overall these are my early going opinions on him. I still think he has potential vs DS though.

Purely Opinion.

Combo wise. I found a nice 39% 1 bar. And it's (Nuclear Shells) Jump in 3, 1,1,3, down, forward + 1 (EX)

Quick question; does Lobo come with his own Star Labs missions?

No, sadly. No unlocks either such as title, emblem, or model viewer. To watch his ending you have to play through arcade every time.
Weak.

Yeah, I fought Deathstroke once as Lobo and found that his gun spam was no match for Lobo. Once I closed in the gap, the shotgun/chain/combos did him in.

Exactly what I mean. Lobo has the best Dash in the game, pound for pound. Lobo is a spacing character. But when it comes to spam he will be an in your face type of character if you can apply him right.
