Martian Manhunter should be part of the starting roster but i think this is a smart move by NRS putting a popular character as DLC more people will buy it

Yeah, like Rain and Kenshi in MK2011. They need DLC to sell so it's going to be characters that probably should be there from the jump. Although I still think Martian Manhunter will be in the initial roster. Or at least I'm keeping hope alive.

What I don't get is why have Grundy and Bane in the main roster over Manhunter? Manhunter brings so much more variety to not just the gameplay but the storyline as well. There can be some argument for Bane but he isn't on MMs level.
Being unfamiliar with Martian Manhunter, could some of his fans please enlighten me on what his abilities are, and how he would play in a fighting game? Thanks.

Taken right from Wikipedia...

Telepathy, shape-shifting, projecting energy, x-ray vision, phasing, invisibility, flight, and super strength.

With Shape Shifting alone there could be countless possibilities for him, but on top of that he has many other abilities!

In all actuality he seems more powerful than superman. He has shapeshifting abilities, telepathy, and invisibility. He can basically do everything Superman can do and more. I dont think he has super speed, and he doesn't pack quite the punch Superman does but he is considered to be more intelligent. There is nothing he can't do. Am I wrong?

His only weakness seems to be fire and no comic seems to agree on just how much fire affects him. Sometimes it does very little to him and sometimes it destroys him, unlike Superman where Kryptonite just renders him completely useless. If he is in the main storyline I'd like to see if his weakness of fire is addressed and to what extent. I've never been a big fan of the immensely powerful superheroes like Superman, MM, or Shazam but ill take MM over Zoom any day.

honestly picture prof. x from xmen with the telepathy and shang stung from mk in regards to shape shifting


put the 2 together and you get martian manhunter who btw is bad ass so minion isnt the only fan
