There's nothing wrong with having a game just be about over the top fun and mayhem, and this game seems to potentially be filled with it based on the footage shown so far. I'm liking the ridiculous specials and moves, as well as the environment interaction aspect.
Like I said, for those that want a serious fighter with a bunch of technical aspects that make it tourny worthy, this likely isn't going to be your cup of tea. In my opinion, a game based on superheroes of this variety and magnitude, it's better to have it be more fun based than technical based.
With all that said, however, that doesn't mean it shouldn't have top notch gameplay and jam packed with content. It should still be a quality game, and I hope they give it the time and effort necessary to make it as such. A great DC game is a rarity, especially featuring all these different characters...so it'd definitely stand out if it's good enough.
Some of the unveiling interviews from last week mentioned that NRS had the tournaments in mind - so don't count the idea out just yet.
The video was fantastic - that should have been the exclusive lol. I won't be maining any of these characters - but Wonder Woman and Solomon Grundy are looking fierce; they are definitely stealing the show thus far imo
