Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle enter the battle in Comic-Con trailer!

The Injustice 2 panel at San Diego Comic-Con delivered a one-two punch with the reveal of two new characters: Wonder Woman and Blue Beetle! Watch their entry into battle in the trailer below:

Wonder Woman gleams in iconic red and blue, with customizable armor inspired by modern incarnations. Her inclusion was announced last month as part of DC Comics' Wonder Woman 75th Anniversary celebrations!

Blue Beetle adapts his alien costume into a variety of weapons and armored designs. The reveal confirms the Jaime Reyes version of the legacy hero - popularized in comics and cartoons like Young Justice.

This third incarnation of the Blue Beetle was introduced to DC Comics in 2006, succeeding the gadget wielding Ted Kord version with the unique powers of an alien scarab. Blue Beetle won a fan poll held by Injustice Creative Director Ed Boon in June [full story]. The version was not specified.

Blue Beetle looks promising, and I hope it means we may see other Young Justice entries such as Calderon/Aqualad, Red Arrow or Artemis, Kid Flash, Ms. Martian, etc.

I don't know man, on one hand, Cassie Cage was one of the first characters revealed for MkX and she looked hideous at first, but as development went on, they tweaked her fave and her final one was pretty damn good. On the other hand, WW herself looked completely repulsive in Injustice 1, so i don't have much faith in NRS when it comes to her.

Why don't they hire a Female Motion Capture actor then? Are they that cheap?

It looks like they scanned actual people for the faces this time, the mocap and lipsync looks really good. WW's hair look too light imo, I prefer her with black hair.

DUDE, motion capture doesn't fix 3D Modeling. Motion capture does exactly what it says... CAPTURES MOTION. Geez.

I like how people always complain about the female character's faces but not the men as if they're well rendered. NRS are just bad at faces for some reason. I guess because they have a more realistic style than other fighting games so it's easier to wander into uncanny valley.

She looks 1,000 times better than she did in Injustice both proportionally and facially so I'm not complaining.

I wonder what her trait is going to be though since her stance switch is gone. I couldn't make out anything in the trailer. Also did her voice actress change? Sounded different to me but I also couldn't clock Tara Strong as Raven in the first game so my ears are unreliable.

Blue Beetle looks great as well. Although I'm currently not completely sold on his look. I know they had to Netherrealm him up some but he was already in armor. A lot less successful than Grodd for example who looks spot on.

I wonder if he'll borrow some of Cyborg's moves or if Cyborg is even in the game.

Surprise surprise, the first thing about WW that people bring up isn't her gameplay and those fun moves, but her appearance, of course. She looks just fine to me. I loved that move where she threw her sword and shield from above then stomped them, as well as the "Submit to me!" one. Can't wait to use those on Batman.

Blue Beetle's looking fun, too.

I honestly wish NRS would start putting a little " This is a work in progress" or " Final product may look different" or SOMETHING in these trailers so people would stop crying about how characters in a game that won't release for another year look lol

Remember Cassie Cage? Or Tanya in the KP trailer? Chill out, she will be polished and touched up lol

Her face is still light years ahead of the IGAU one even if it looks a little off atm. But I think the final product will be much more appealing.

They probably didn't think anything was wrong with her face in that one. Anyways my point still stands, look at E3 Cassie compared to release Cassie. This will likley be a similar case.

Man, and the dynamic lighting! The spotlights and shadows are phenomenal. They add a lot of depth. Visually, even at this stage, the game looks very impressive.

Was WoWo's face modeled after an actress that portrayed her? It just seems like a very unique face.
