1. Each character interacts differently with the wager system, I have seen shazam say 4 different things
2. Alternate costumes show up in arcade mode (battles) which NRS has never done
3. The main boss doesn't explode into molten lava rocks for once, this is something that has happened since deception at least
4. Each character really feels different, making them feel very unique
Good work NRS!

The biggest surprise for me is the online. The leveling up is a fun addition. Plus, it feels so much smoother than MK9 did online and less lag/connection interruptions. I wonder if is because Gamespy wasn't used?

Lol.
I liked the soundtrack in Story mode. The wagers are sweet too, the fact that there are relationship-specific ones brings out personality in this fighting game.

My only gripe is that we can't view the endings. I'm trying to get the unlocks and I can't remember who I've beat the game with :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought you could rewatch the endings in the Archives>Characters section.
1. The Titles and Emblems! I love this because NRS really went all out coming up with cool incentives to get players to do certain things they normally wouldn't to unlock cool Titles and Emblems! It really adds a cool element to the online advertising your hard earned insignia's!
2. The Rank system! I've always thought rank systems made games so much more rewarding, even though it's kind of a faux reward. It makes me feel like I've accomplished a crap ton, and some times I do!
3. The Clash Dialogue! I was sold on it when I heard this: Green Lantern: "I don't even need the ring!", Green Arrow: "Cool! Can I borrow it?"

you can watch the endings in the archives section under characters I believe anyone else have the game freeze or go blank after unlocking things in archives and trying to go back to the main menu ?

See, I don't like the wager system. It feels like a cheap vehicle designed just to give the characters the chance to talk to each other. I'd rather there be some other, more elegant way to include that (because it is cool) without some tacked on mechanic.

It's better than nothing, but I'd prefer something like what MvC3 has. The win quotes and interactions really help that game
Yeah I was surprised when character specific win quotes and intros didn't make it into this game. I don't like the actual wager system either but I do like all the cool things they say.
Perhaps fighting games will start making fights more chatty in general instead of just grunts and stuff.
